Well, it's roomy.Staff is friendly.LA fitness was smart to change the white seats with armrests to the brown ones without armrest.Some people were putting their shoes on the seats.(the armrests enabled them as they held up their shoes). People complained about the rude behavior. Now with the new chairs,they are unable to put their shoes on the seat. Also people dropping weights that is so annoying to others.
Not clean,
Looks bad,
Lockers room front the 60ts.
Jacuzzi is ice water and no sign says out of order.
Won't return here.

When I try to fix with the manager they they again the money.
I stop the payment because I want this will fix Firts
They keep charged me moth to moth
In the end I just went 3 times
They charge fir about six moths
The manager always said is not his fault
Be careful is like a mafia
My banks have to change everything from my complete card to stop the money .
And plus the reception very nasty and rude
I just had back few moths the Firts 3 never

I go to a lot of the LA Fitness Gyms in south Florida and like them a lot.
This one in particular is awful. Machines and appearance is outdated, weights are never re racked and finding the free weights you want is sometimes impossible.
I placed my gym bag on top of the lockers in the locker room, and a cloud of dust came down with it when I took it off. I stood on the bench and looked to see so much garbage and dust, which has clearly never been cleaned.
Spend the money and go to equinox or go to any other LA Fitness nearby but take a flyer on this one.

Nice location, plenty of equipment. I had a great trainer.
Nice gym.. a lil small and the machines are too close to each other. I wish they enforced every member to use the lockers instead of carrying and leaving bags everywhere. The staff is nice and attentive. The manager is very cool..

Convenient for me, but extremely dirty. Bathroom needs to be redone. It's from the 80's when it used to be Scandinavian club. It's 30+years old place.
This location is conient to my location, but in not a newer facility. I do not think it is fully accessible to disabled. Equipment has been repaired and somewhat upgraded since being acquired by LA Fitness. There are group exercise activativities There are two exercise equipment arear, one up stairs, one down stairs via stairs in both instances. It works for me because of it's close proximity and I am glad it is here. I do not to appear negative, just trying describe. Recommend you check out for your self.
Pretty run down, in need of a major face-lift. Seems to always be pretty busy, with waits on specific machines. Nobody puts weights back on rack or removes plates from barbells. Not nearly as civilized or courteous as Olympia gym.

Was disappointing by such an old equipment and poorly maintained common area. The run track that goes around the gym is a great idea.
Dirty, run down facilities. Weights never reracked properly. Crowded. Hot and poor air flow in cardio room. Lockerrooms old, dirty, trash often overflowing. I only go because of the convenient location.
POS gym! Men showers only got hot water n u cant control da temperature because da handles r brokes besides da 4 showers out of service. Old dusty rusty machines, no weights in place, sauna turned into a storage room. Small old n dirty, da staff a joke.
There is nobody who cares for belongings you can forget. When I arrived at home I realized I forgot at showers hanger my daughters bathing suit. I called to the gym asking if they can save it for me at lost and found. The guy who answered the call yesterday at night said to me Hold on and never got the phone back. I called again and nobody answer, I was passed to the recorder voice. Today at morning, an attendant answered faster and she told me there is nothing here. So, you better pay attention to your belongings at this local.
I quit today. Too small and filthy.and the members.lolol omg!! If you said where are the worse etiquette peeps you ever saw in your life at a gym....this one! And ive been lifting weights since i was 18.im now 55. Slam!!!! Those suckers azzholes.why? And wait..... let me wipe this off and then throw the paper towels on the floor have you ever heard of a garbage can. I was a school teacher a Broward County school teacher for 10 years these people are more disgusting than the kids they used to throw things on the floor. And speaking of the floor it's the most disgusting floor I've ever stepped on in my entire life. Okay the machines there's one you want to do something there's one and we all fight for it if there's a second one it's probably broke. I'll find another place to work out. I'm shocked because Aventura so ritzy but you never see any nice cars in the parking lot so I guess the rich people aren't going there.
This particular gym is messy and disorganized. The free weights are EVERYWHERE except on the racks. The weights are scattered EVERYWHERE. It's clear that the employees are also not putting any weights back at the end of the day or in the morning. Lastly, as a woman it would be nice to have weights from 5-20 available. Unfortunately, after searching the whole gym several times, they have yet to be seen. I will remain in search of these elusive weights until I can finally stop going to this gym. Just one more month. Give me strength.
Some pumping machines are old, benches are re-upholstered in different colors, cardio machines are from 2 generations ago, carpets are worn... this is an old building with old installations that need to be upgraded complete, the pool has been closed for 3 months in the last 6 months..... So aged and old compared with the ones in Pompano, Biscayne or 183rd St.
Most neglected, nastiest and disgusting LA Fitness I've ever set foot into. It's baffling to see a gym this bad located right in the heart of an upscale neighborhood like Aventura. They need to close this place down.
It's been a rat hole ever since I can remember, when Bally's used to own it. LA Fitness, or whoever owns this franchise hasn't put one dime into the place, and it is a filthy, disgusting gym. The building is in complete dispair, mold and mildew everywhere. Sickening. The five star reviews are definitely fake and posted by employees or management. Pathetic. By far the worst LA Fitness gym in Florida.

A little bit old but people are nice and they keep it clean.
Good gym. Could be 5 stars but needs improvement . Workout area is compact . Cardio room is great. But the mens locker room, needs a facelift. There are 3 of 8 showers out of service for a long time. The lockers are old and rusty. They were recently painted but still rusty inside. That gym had a steam room but for some strange reason members were told it's closed for repairs. That's been over 1 year ago. Gotta give credit to the young guy thst cleans the locker room. He does a really good job
This place is a total mess, I wish the staff would be more helpful and at least once a day they had someone putting the weights where they belong. You get there when they open the place is already a mess.
