The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. I like the variety of classes and activities available every day. Water aerobics is a favorite of mine; the instructors are great!
The place definitely has some positives. However, there seems to be a lack of professionalism. My kid is enrolled in volleyball and while they practice the basketball kids come in and disrupt the class becasue THEY have to play. So the girls lose a ton of their time due to the dispute and there is NO MANAGEMENT in sight to address the situation while the basketball players and their coach disrespect the volleyball coach. Teenagers cursing using the N word. Funny how they have banners that read caring, respect, honesty and responsibility . Not sure I see any of these principles being applied . People can do whatever they choose.
Great,friendly facility. Lots of well-maintained equipment along with a friendly staff and super personal trainers. Locker rooms are clean. Sauna and steam rooms maintainced regularly, and 2 pools to get your swim on. Lots of special classes. Some free. Some for a nominal fee. Highly recommend!

Family appearance on the outside, but cruel money hungry Management on the inside that could care less about their employees and even less about their members.
Bring the people back whose hearts are in the right place so you can actually stand for what you preach.

If i could give zero stars i would, This place would never get a penny from me...i dropped off my application 2 weeks ago & was told by the girl at the front desk that someone would Call me in a week regarding signing up for the (preschool) classes but i never got a phone call so i made several calls (which they never ever answer the phone there) & i left voicemails each time & no one ever called back. Long story short i had to actually go in person to attempt to retrive my personal documents but got some B.S story from the membership director about how it was already shredded...but yet i never got a call regarding it being reviewed yet...I would never leave my child in their care! So unorganized & unprofessional

I just needed a place with a pool, so I can gdf some laps in after work. I don't need anything fancy, and I cant justify a damned "initiation fee" on top of regular dues. I like that you can pay as you go.

When we tried to call them, they did not answer. We got voicemail. Fair enough. But after leaving multiple messages they did not call back.
I eventually was able to reach someone who told me the policy - two days after I initially tried to reach them. (We just made the 10-day requirement.)
If you want to belong here for the rest of your life, go ahead. If not, be aware of what it will take to get out.

Go to LA FItness. WAY better facility, less expensive, and they are a business - not a hobby.
Only rating the gymnastics portion as the facility with the upgrades is amazing. I would rate it lower if I was onkh rating the gymnastics part and higher if just the gym part.
They have too many kids and little space. My daughter and several other classes end up getting little time and space to actually practice because the extremely talented kids who compete take over. They can't even warm up on the mats because there is no room and so they shove them around other equipment just to warm up for example. The teachers are high school kids or equivalent and they are great kids but you can also tell they get frustrated more easily too than the adults. A lot of it again is no room to actually teach them. She has only practiced floor 2 times in the entire time she was in the last session etc. Because of how this program is run we will be looking elsewhere and have not renewed our membership.
The facility itself is pretty awesome, the early childhood department is a wreck. I sent my son their for their Early learning childhood summer camp and by the 2nd week I withdrew him. The director Lizette is highly unorganized and some of the teachers on the floor have disgusting attitudes. At the time my son had just turned 4 and they placed him the 3 year old section.. when my husband brought it to Lizette's attention she apologized and promised she would have it corrected... next day nothing had been changed and when I addressed Miss Anna about it she had no clue what I was talking about... I did not leave until they moved him to his age appropriate section... before I made a big deal of it to Miss Anna there was another teacher can't recall her name but she huffed and puffed and stomped her foot at me... I guess most parents just drop their kids off and don't pay attention to what is going on so I assume my intervening on them doing what they were supposed to do was offensive... the next day I bring my son in and that same teacher who huffed and puffed at me slapped down a packet of paper.. when I went to look at it, it was the registration packet.. I told her I was not filling that out all over again, she caught an attitude, and Miss Anna happened to be nearby and I asked what this was all about? Why did I have to fill it out all over again? Miss Anna tells me his registration packet that is required before any child even starts was nowhere to be found and that the director must've taken it home etc,.etc. mind you this packet had my son's emergency contacts on it so if god forbid something had happened to him they would have no way to let anybody know as well not have on file at the school who was authorized to pick my child up. After that I instantly inquired about how to withdraw my son. Never again would I send him there unless it was for swim lessons, gymnastics etc., which I have and the experience was amazing. They really need to put together a responsible, professional, friendly and warm team when it comes to our children.
This facility is completely out of control. I was at the pool yesterday and a man was literally screaming obscenities at a woman in the pool. The staff did nothing until the woman who was being verbally abused threaded to call the police. The man was not removed or even ask to leave, because apparently this is just how he is allowed to treat women there.
I feel like the lifeguards just look at reviews of themselves online
Nice facility. Just remodeled. But no one ever answers the phone. It is so hard to reach a person to talk to.....just answer the phone
The new men's locker room located near the front is all remodeled with brand new sauna and brand new steam room and brand new showers everything is so clean and it is definitely very relaxing. I don't think many guys know about it yet but it is awesome! Check it out.

The Y is the best value in town for summer fun with the kids. Great child watch and family friendly pool.

Unbelievable..... I was a member for over a year, lost my job and couldn't continue to pay the fee. I received several calls from an employee telling me they can help me by lowering the rate. I have been calling for 3 weeks now at all different hows of the day. the phone rings over 20 times, someone picks up and hangs it up. I finally decided to call today and got Chrystal on the line she hard me find until I said someone called stating they could help me with my payments, then all she kept saying is I can't hear you and hung up the phone. I called by 5 more time and the phone just rings.
