I generally work out at their U street location but this one is great too, a little more room and equally solid quirky fun coaches and community. No gym bros here just professionals who are trying to find time to get fit and have a laugh. All the thumbs up, highly recommend
After trying out several other Crossfit gyms I finally landed at Crossfit DC. The camaraderie I feel every time I take a class is hard to match in ANY gym. The coaches are attentive without seeming unapproachable and the attention to detail, especially regarding safety, exceeds expectations. I have found my Crossfit home in DC and will be here as long as they are.
Best workouts, coaches and community! This place has become our 2nd home :)
Dropped in for a workout while in DC. Checked all the CrossFit communities nearby and their staff + WOD's. We visited a few around town to try new things and this was the best of the town. The staff was supportive of my fiance's limits due to injury and helped me workout a sore back after a long drive.
The staff introduced us and everyone came to say hello and speak with us to make us feel welcome.
This is one of those boxes that is more than just a box, it's a community and it shows.

Loved this gym! My husband and I dropped in while visiting DC. We originally tried another gym on H street earlier in the week, but I wish we had come to DC Northeast earlier! We loved the facility, the coaches were friendly and the workout was great. When dropping in you can pay $25 for a shirt and the class fee, which is a good deal! If I lived in DC this is the gym I would go to!

The space is great. Reminiscent of old school CrossFit. The programming is solid and the coaches are all friendly and knowledgeable. Clientele are all friendly and great people, too. Age ranges from 20-60 and everyone has a great time.

Great gym; excellent coaches; friendly people
I've been to two Crossfit gyms in DC (Capitol Hill Crossit- which is now closed- and here). There's pros and cons to both. Crossfit DC Northeast is a very nice Crossfit gym. It is one big open room with top equipment and plenty of space for a large class to do the workouts. They offer a variety of classes from straight up Crossfit to Crossfit Proven, a more cardio and strength building workout. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they are experts in what they do. It's centrally located on H Street and easy to get to if you live in the area.
The only thing to note is that classes are larger so if you're shy, you'll need to really work hard to convince yourself to show up the first time. Don't be intimidated. People are nice here!
It's also slightly higher than my old gym, which is why I do Crossfit Proven around $150 a month for a 6-month commitment.
