Background: I had to change my contract start date because I was going to be overseas for a large portion of the month. The staff forwarded my request to the owner, who emailed me and was perfectly fine with changing the contract start date so that I could take full advantage of the membership that month. As a new client, this shows me that this studio cares about their patrons. I am sure I will continue to practice here! Highly recommend.

I had just started practicing yoga before I moved to the Brookland neighborhood and was so excited when I found Bluebird Sky Yoga. Thanks to Jennie and the rest of the amazing teachers at the studio, my practice has completely transformed over the past year and a half. Not only has my strength, flexibility and balance all significantly improved, but also my ability to breathe and cope with stress. I love that there are so many different class options to choose from - including my favorite, Rocket! The community of people who practice here are all friendly and supportive as well. I've never once felt intimidated in a class and have loved getting to know other people who practice here. The studio itself is very welcoming, clean and colorful. It's an awesome environment to deepen your practice in and I can't recommend it enough =)
Vibrant arts-focused studio in the heart of Brookland. Large variety of class styles, workshops, and community events for yogis all levels. Supportive teachers from different backgrounds: a neighborhood gem!
One of my absolute favorite studios in DC! The space is gorgeous and the staff and teachers are courteous and knowledgeable. Love the murals outside and the lovely reading nook for some pre or post-class tea.
I'm new to yoga and was a little nervous the first time I walked in. Felt super welcome there. This place meets you where you are at and doesn't make you feel bad if you don't know a position. Most classes have a mixture of levels and I have ALWAYS felt comfortable and welcome though I am learning, and not necessarily picking it up quickly. Could not recommend more.
Also, as a dude yoga studios are often intimidating places. There were lots of other guys just like me. All welcome to practice.
This a very nice studio with a good vibe. The class offerings are fantastic and the teachers are attentive and professional. The space is open and airy and situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. I have been to many studios in DC, and I feel as if this is my permanent yoga home!

Jennie has done an amazing job of transforming this space into a studio with a diverse range of yoga offerings and regular art and music shows. Highly recommend!
