I love being able to start my day (after school drop off) at one of Be Here Now's 9 am weekday classes. Whether it's the Tuesday gentle class, Wednesday or Thursday's flow, or Friday's Yin Yang class I always feel much better about getting to work on the days I took a class than those when I wasn't able to attend!
A holistic studio that honors the body, mind, and spirit during practice.
Beautiful studio just off the Eastern Market Metro stop. Great instructors, welcoming vibe, affordable pricing, and a full set of offerings every day to accommodate busy schedules. Give the studio a shot! You won't regret it!
I had a great experience here. Nice people, clean facility. Highly recommend.
I did the Thai therapy healing yoga. I loved being stretched and pulled in new ways. Calming, leaves you feeling relaxed and refreshed. Healers listen to what you have to say about areas of your body that you want focused on. All staff very friendly and helpful. I will be back to experience other healing services and yoga!
lovely place to practice. i was in town for work and was tired of the corporate nature of CorePower so i tried some where new. This place was really pleasant. Only negative was that the didn't have showers. I am usually dropping in for a class between meetings and i would have appreciated a proper locker room/ showers. Other than that, it was really great. I really enjoyed the teacher, class, atmosphere and the staff.
I've been taking yoga classes here for a few months and love it. The staff is down to earth and accommodating and the studio is warm, comfortable and inviting. It admittedly is less of a work out than some of the high intensity hard core yoga/pilates chains, but the personalized environment is worth the switch.

This yoga studio is pretty great. There is plenty of space in the room, they offer tea and infused water, and they have great quality mats that you can borrow for free (the matts are actually better than the one that I personally own). Checking in is easy and fast, and the space and props are all very clean.

This is a fabulous studio. I recently took a class with Simone. She is incredible and I highly recommend her.

I love the peaceful and positive vibe at BHNY. The space is so beautiful and tranquil and the teachers are fabulous. Just walking in there, I feel good and walking out, I feel even better!

Very personable and welcoming. Emily is a fantastic instructor!
Very clean, smells good, welcoming, relaxing, good slate of different types of yoga classes. Mostly focused on stretch/relaxation/rehab/healing.

Warm and friendly environment - very welcoming! Cozy studio with excellent quality rental mats! Yoga instruction focused on holding poses through breathing - great for core building. Music was soothing and complimentary Yogi Tea was a nice touch! -Jasmine
The owners are a bit self-righteous and get defensive when students comment on the quality of instruction. They resisted continuing morning classes during the best time slots. They had some good teachers when they opened, but there was a dramatic difference between the good and not so good instructors. They transitioned to a schedule dominated by a poor teacher and most of the good teachers moved on. Classes collapsed into lazy hippie yoga full of dogmatic rhetoric and New Age psychotherapy. Classes lasted more than hour, and with the walk to and from the studio, I was wasting nearly two hours. I was offended by the over-simplification of Eastern spiritual practices. At times classes approached the same orientalism we use to define late British Empire. I had a lot of problems with the door being locked when I arrived even when I was technically there a minute or two before class started. I would knock and no one would answer. When they opened, the atmosphere was better.
The staff here are always friendly and welcoming when I arrive to the studio. Yoga instructors are great, classes always starts on time and I have yet to have a class be cancelled in my 7 months of going to yoga classes here. The classes I've had with Beth, Emily, Chantae, Kat and Kiki are consistent and I like the fact that they have their different teaching methods. I also like that the studio is locally owned.
I love that there's no gimmick at be here now, it's just yoga. The teachers are friendly and great and the classes are affordable. I enjoy my time here.
Very relaxing studio (beautiful wall art), and very kind staff. I've been to a few fairly intimidating studios and this was the exact opposite! Hope to come back soon.
I'm doing the "New Student" 2 weeks of unlimited classes for $35 as part of my News Years resolution to take better care of myself. I will definitely be signing up for one of the monthly memberships. Although I am totally new to yoga, every instructor has made me feel welcome and supported. The owners focus on both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. I'm hooked!
