I was a loyal member at the Vida for two years.
I unfortunately have to let anyone new to DC know that Vida does not care about you the minute you try to cancel. You are guilty until proven innocent and they deliberately charge you extra (including a cancellation fee).
I cancelled over the phone and then was told months later I was being charged hundreds of dollars for not cancelling. After showing proof of the cancellation form I filled out, they refused to reimburse me. In fact, they told me they needed written traffic via email proving the form was legitimate... Talk about treating your customer base poorly (especially a loyal one).
Do not let Vida steal your money. It was an endless battle with them. Be sure to block them on your credit card when you cancel to ensure you do not fall victim to what I went through. The classlessness is beyond me.
