Nancy is a fantastic trainer and person. I've trained with her, beginning with the Amazing 12 program, for almost 4 years and achieved fantastic results! Nancy is creative and very encouraging; overall great to work with - I highly recommend her.

Uplift has greatly exceeded my expectations! I started with the sole objective of getting fit and increasing strength, but I have gained way more. Both my approach to exercise and relationship with food have positively changed for the long term. Amazed at what my body can do, and with the help of Nancy, Gary and the staff, I have built body and mental resilience. I have never been a person who exercises, but that has now changed. I am happy, active, and I eat, sleep and cope better with stress thanks to Nancy, the team, and the supportive community they foster.

I discovered Uplift a little over a year ago. Within the first 6 weeks, I was already down a size. I focused on the workouts and was sensible about my food. I never felt deprived or stressed. I have always been active and, like many people, as I got older, things got soft. I tried many things - a personal trainer, BeachBody programs, my own workouts - and each time they worked but were not sustainable. Either the personal training was way too intense so I got burned out or in the case of Beachbody, it's a defined program for a set period of time that you do alone in your house and then when it's finished it's up to you to figure out what to do next to maintain the progress. Not so with Nancy and Uplift. First, the programs are designed for your INDIVIDUAL goals and fitness level. And, she emphasizes working hard but not insanely to the point of burnout. The workout is challenging but I walk out feeling energized, not drained. And, when you stick with it the little changes happen quickly - you walk faster, you can all of sudden consider a 5k with your friends, you can play with your kids or nephews without feeling like you're going to die! The list goes on...
I wanted to share this review because you can look high and low and not find a workout OR a studio that is fit for you specifically, welcoming, and a place you want to go each time.

Working out at Uplift was a great experience. I am about 30 lbs lighter and much stronger than when I started. These jeans were tight on me in May of 2018! I definitely recommend contacting Nancy if you are seriously ready to take the first step. The workouts were tough but a lot of fun!

Uplift has transformed how I viewed strength training. The program combines yoga and barbells! Nancy, the head coach is super knowledgeable and personalizes the routine to make sure you achieve results. She teaches you to listen to your body which is so important so you don't get injured. I have gone to many gyms but it's Nancy's expertise and constant attention to detail that has given me results faster! Highly recommend her!!

Nancy is an amazing trainer. Working with her has radically changed my fitness levels and helped me overcome several injuries. She is a pleasure to work with and has inspired me to reach greater levels of fitness than I thought possible.

Nancy is a constant learner and brings that procured knowledge to customize a plan for her clients. She knows how to push and motivate you, but without making you feel like your effort isn't enough. She's focused on helping you to grow strength and she's also extremely adaptable. When I told Nancy I was pregnant, she went out of her way to learn exercises appropriate for a pregnant woman and a post-baby body. She's just so thoughtful and really engaged around allowing you to be the best version of you that you can be. I can't say enough great things-- I've worked with trainers at various gyms, across multiple states and Nancy is the only one that's been a consistent choice for me. She's simply outstanding at what she does.

Nancy is a fantastic trainer! She is very responsive and easy to work with, incredibly personable and supportive, and extremely knowledgeable about all things strength, mobility, and yoga. She is a great teacher and has helped me consistently improve at weightlifting. I would highly recommend her to anyone with any fitness-related goals, regardless of age or prior experience.

Nancy has been my personal trainer for several years, which should indicate what I think of her. She is very knowledgeable about her craft, both cardio and weights. One of the best things about her is that she really works closely with what a client can do. When I started working out I had certain joints that were an issue and I (and an orthopaedic surgeon) had concerned I could injure them exercising. Over the course of several months, Nancy worked on the mobility and strength of those joints and the issue basically went away. With all of this, she's a nice and caring person and that really comes out in how she treats those she works with (or at least me).

I've worked with a few trainers over the last few years and none measure up to Nancy. She is amazing at what she does and I've seen great weight loss results. Nancy is understanding and sweet but will also keep you on track and accountable--a difficult balance! If you have a chance to work with her, take it. Thank you, Nancy!
