Read this before getting a membership!: Wanted to cancel due to a move, spoke to an employee at the gym, was told I would be able to cancel. I submitted my proof of address, was told it was acceptable, signed the cancellation form, and received verbal confirmation that it would be cancelled. I get a call from a new GM claiming that this wasn't sufficient, and demanded I provide confidential proof of move. I told her I am not able to and I want to speak to corporate, she said "Ok we can go down this road if you want" and hung up on me. I contacted billing and they said that since it's a 'franchise' location, there is no supervisor to speak to and I have to call the gym directly again. I got the 'regional managers' email, but I am not even sure if this is real. This is a SCAM - please be cautious before signing up.
