I purchased tickets for an event night here where the event time wasn't clearly communicated in multiple emails sent out about the event. I had a ticket receipt for a similar event (titled the same) two months prior, and confused those times as despite receiving multiple confirmation emails for the new event, the time was never listed. I arrived at 6:15 for the class believing it to have supposed to be begun at 6:30pm, and was ushered into a room full of people wrapping up their 2-hour class. The receptionist made no mention of it having started at 4:30 even when I asked about it, so I was essentially put into a room full of people at the tail-end of the class thinking that a new class would begin at 6:30pm. To say the least, it was embarrassing and unprofessional to be ushered in like that without clear communication. When I followed up with the studio event organizers regarding this asking for a refund, and stating in detail how those times were miscommunicated and then that miscommunication continued when I arrived at the studio, I received no response for 3 weeks despite multiple follow-up emails.
The non-responsiveness regarding any of this after reaching out multiple times is really what's frustrating at this point. Even if there was disagreement regarding the criticism I had, any type of response would have been appreciated much more than just silence.
