I was there two nights in a row and the guys were georgous and the place was very clean. The staff was wonderful and will go back again

Stopped by a couple months ago, just a decaying facility with nothing to offer but a place to burn your cash. It had such promise, based on the photos. Not anymore.

DO NOT GO HERE
It is derelict. The say the steam room is not working, but the sauna is off and most of seating out of action. They are not heating the venue or cleaning it.
Please do not go. It is not a heathy place to be. They are just rinsing for cash before closing.

The staff is very friendly, and the facility is clean, but those are the only positives of the place. I've been patronizing Crew Club for over 10 years, and things have gone downhill lately. In the past, repairs were made promptly, but lately that's not the case. The shower nozzles and on/off levers have been is disrepair for quite some time. The bench seating in the dry sauna have been is disrepair as well. The steam room no longer works, and according to one of the staff, there are no plans to fix it. There were four video channels for the adult videos. Now there are only two channels. One of the video screens is broken and hasn't been replaced. Not too long ago they did a good job of re-branding that included repainting, but lately it seems the management has given up on the place. Add to that they've closed the darkroom, and they no longer have Cumunion Parties. The only reason people still patronize Crew Club is it's the only game in town, so to speak. I wouldn't be surprised to show up one day and see the place closed down. At this point the prices they charge aren't worth it.

Maybe I just had bad luck but, I came for the massage table and it wasnt functioning, nor was the sauna. I asked specifically about the functioning of the equipment before purchase and I was told everything was good. The sauna came back on eventually but, like the steam room, did not retain heat well at all with everyone coming in and out. When I voiced these concerns to the manager, David, he said, "people don't usually use the massage bed, and the sauna was only down for an hour." Additionally, I felt some slight prejudice because I came for the spa features and not to "play". These kinds of establishments further a negative view of gay people, just saying.

The Sauna-suffocation Room was disgisting.. nasty carpet throughout the cruising floor..
Tiny rooms with a bench is supposed to be a bed..

HYGIENIC - SMALL - FUN TIMES!
Came here when I was exploring my sexuality. Lots of kind men, nobody was ever pushy. The place is clean, with plenty of different areas to do things. I'd give it a visit anytime!

I had the most amazing time. First time ever going. It was Sunday morning very slow but not to bad for a first timer. Wish I would have stayed longer but couldn't. The staff very helpful with great personality. And customer service. If you haven't been please go you will have the time of your life I and definitely going back for a round two.

Just be aware that if you forget your membership card (cardboard) they will charge you an extra fee for a new membership day pass.
The claim that they can not look your membership in the system.
I loved the place but due to the membership issues I lower the stars.

This was my first bathhouse experience, so I didn't know what to expect. My partner has been to bathhouses, mostly in Europe, before, so I wanted to take him here to try it out.
I had read a bit about it, and the reviews a few places, but you can never really tell (Normally the crazy people are the ones writing one star reviews in all caps and exclamation points, LOL).
We headed there after hitting up a few clubs in downtown DC. It was around 2am Saturday Night / Sunday Morning. We had to wait a while (around 15-20 minutes) to be buzzed in but they were busy, so we understood. In the meantime, my partner and I just chatted it up with the others waiting in the lobby.
When we were finally buzzed through, one at a time, we paid our $25 for a locker and got on the waiting list for a room. (I was on guard expecting an attitude from the staff, based on the reviews I had read, but they were all friendly). They handed us our fresh towels and locker keys and we headed upstairs to undress. We jumped past the gym and tanning area downstairs. Upstairs, they were playing an adult movie on the big screen near lockers and seating. I honed in on the snack table and took note for later (they provide water, sodas, cookies, chips, etc. and have additional vending), since I had been drinking prior in the night.
We entered the wet sauna and saw some action pretty quickly. We then headed to the dry sauna to relax. There were about 4-5 guys in there with us, and everyone was very respectful. After sweating it out in the sauna for a half an hour, we stepped outside to shower. We walked the halls and checked out the open rooms and it looked like most of the people there were having a great time.
Shortly after, our number was called to upgrade our room. We headed downstairs, switched out our towels, and got our room key and clean sheets.
On our way back, we headed by a few more rooms to watch the action and stopped by the darkly lit sling area.
We headed to our room to have our own, private, fun. A couple of hours later, we headed home.
Overall, I would say the Crew Club exceeded my expectations. My partner and I are fit, and didn't expect to see others in shape. At least half of the people there that night were in relatively good shape, and there was someone for everyone. All sizes, races, ages. I was also impressed that everyone was respectful. My partner and I were not looking to engage with anyone (other than one another), and everyone caught on to that.
I think it's awesome that places like this are still around. Where guys can come together, have a little fun (whatever their version of fun is), and be respectful of one another.
We'll definitely hit it up next time we are in DC.

This has to be the worst Spa I've ever been to In My Life not only have I came to this place 3 times within a two-day span with a close personal friend of mine and two of the three times his ID was accepted and they have it documented that was accepted and then all the sudden because the one employee decides he doesn't like him denies him entry to it I don't think that was fair. that the place is disgusting they have bad customer service and no type of social skills. I called in to speak to someone and the employed as the phone heard me off the phone and hung up on me while I was in mid-sentence asking him a question you just told me to call back tomorrow I never heard of such thing .they are lacking in a lot of different areas they really need to step their game up. I've spoken with four year olds that have better people skills. This is not something that should be allowed nor tolerated

I get when people say it is a clean facility. It was well remodeled. Pehaps a little too much light for my taste. The rooms are really small. Even the largest. The fact that there are no lockers inside the rooms is a major inconvenience under my view. I personally like gay saunas with a bit more character, but I can see why some people are giving good reviews. It is located in a safe part of town, close to downtown. Now comes what I dont like about it: most of the staff is well mannered and pleasant to deal with. It is no secret that there is a lot drugs involved with this type pf business in general. The Crew club does an excellent job keeping the place looking safe and clean, but ypu can still hear the lighters going off inside the room.I don't mind that. It is the same in every gay sauna I've been to here and abroad. Back in the day I wouldn't mind doing some myself, but at my age it is not something I enjoy. know for a fact that one particular staff member target patrons and blackmail customers. I've been going there on and off for about 15 years. After hearing the same story from more than just a few people who never met reach other, including one trustworthy friend of mine, I decided never to go back. Beware of blackmail and intimidation, specially if you are older and goes by yourself when the club is not busy. I thought about contacting the owner and make him aware, but all things considered, it is best to remain anonymous.If I ever have a chance to tell these stories to the owner and things change, I may start going there again.
