Gym facilities are fine for the most part, except that when something breaks (like hot water) it takes forever to be fixed. The real issue here is the customer service and unethical business practices. For instance, I recently got fed up and decided to cancel my membership. I called and was told to email. I emailed once, twice and no returns to my messages. I had to call yet once again to speak to someone about canceling. I was told that cancellations kick in after 45 days, so no matter when in the billing cycle you cancel, this is to ensure that will squeeze at least another full monthly payment from you even though you're clearly not interested in having the membership go that much longer. I found a new studio that respects me as a client and only requires 7 business days to cancel. Bye, bye, WSC, see you never!
