We were scheduled to be in a 5:15 hot vinyasa class. When I arrived (albeit 7 minutes late), the doors were locked with not a person in site for the 15 minutes thereafter that we waited. The site specifically says that they do not mind necessaroly if you are up to 15 minutes late for the class.
Spend your money somewhere else, poor customer service and seems poorly managed. Recommend Flow or Embrace or Mint's yoga classes.
I strongly agree with other recent posts. I used to absolutely adore this studio, but it began changing when the owners moved to Hawaii and tried to manage the studio remotely. The current on-site manager, Lisa Ai, is awful- really, truly bad customer service. It's not a happy place anymore. Most of the amazing teachers have since left the studio, and it has fallen into utter disrepair (dirty, odors, etc.). Maybe it is because the new management - as another poster stated, "Management seems very out of touch with reality." Seconded. (Note: This is the first negative review of a business that I have written here - I usually only post when I have something awesome to share. So sorry for the negativity - but I had to post.)
Great studio, relaxed atmosphere, flexible schedule, many courses (most of them are hot vinyasa), welcoming and highly motivated teachers. I go to their Adams Morgan studio, but they also have one in the Dupont Circle area. I always feel just amazing after having attended a class there.
One of the best yoga studios that I have had the pleasure of attending. I will recommend The Studio DC to all my clients who travel to DC through Papilia!
City yoga at its purest - studio dc is a no frills studio to come learn and be surrounded (often tightly) by fellow/future yogis. teachers encourage you to push to your limits or embrace child's pose depending on what you want to make of your practice/ your day. studio gives you the opportunity to escape adams morgan up a small staircase, only being tied back to the city life by the occasional delicious aroma of next door's latest dish
Great spot, fine instructors, love it!
This is a good place to go for Yoga and they have some experienced teachers. The one thing I would like to see is for the ashtanga class to get the big room rather than being stuck in that small room near the office. Or else limit the class to 8 people. It's too crowded sometimes.

Love the classes here! I've been going for 5 years and I'm usually more than satisfied with classes :)
Great classes!!! Laid back studio--very welcoming. Classes for all levels both heated and regular vinyasa. Very knowledgable teachers.
