I brought my son for the first time ever on Saturday and cannot be happier. The place is great; even though it was busy there was still room and time to climb. My son is 6 and Monique was SO amazing with him. She was very patient and kind and motivated him to get all the way to the top of the climbs. We are definitely getting a membership!

Great Cancellation Policy! After moving to a location that made it difficult for me get to the gym regularly, I had cancel, which is a total bummer considering the facility is world class. As I approached the counter to cancel on the last day of the month, I expected the runaround and fees that are typical of membership clubs. Instead, the staff member let me know that my membership would end tomorrow - no strings attached. Amazing staff, world class facility, and they continually reinvest into the community and gym. Get a membership and climb frequently, you wont regret it!

Sure it could get crowded sometimes but always clean, friendly staff and great classes. The space is awesome.

Super friendly staff, clean space, and well keep gear. Came for a child's birthday and the staff was absolutely wonderful. We will be back with out entire family.

Great space. The routes are reset enough to not get bored but giving you enough time to project things a little bit.

Bike racks in the car park and free parking after 4pm and on weekends.

Solid gym equipment and lots of classes, plenty of yoga and climbing instruction.

Happy climbing.

This Gym is fantastic : quite big, well equipped, really clean and has, last but not least, a super team! I began to climb here 2 months ago and I really regret that I cannot continue (I'm moving back to Europe)... Their classes are great too : introduction to top rope climbing, bouldering and movement, core burn and of course yoga (I had a crush for Winny's class : really challenging and perfect to improve your strength and your balance)!

Definitely the place to climb (and not only)!

This is in many ways a super climbing gym, with great facilities and instructors. Unfortunately, however, the ventilation in this space is terrible and the amount of chalk suspended in the air was, for me at least, intolerable. After the first time I climbed, I had a searing sore throat in the evening, which I did not initially connect to the gym. The second time I came, the same thing happened again, with the irritation developing almost immediately, and I coughed for days afterwards. I did not go back. I must be more sensitive to the chalk suspended in the air than the average person. But the amount of chalk in the air was so thick on my second visit, you could almost taste it. For any person this cannot be healthy, whether you are sensitive to it or not.

I really think this gym should pay more attention to ventilation, for the health of the climbers. I also think the gym should educate climbers on the use of chalk. I see plenty of people dipping constantly into their bag of chalk, creating a big cloud each time they reach in. Perhaps the gym could suggest alternatives. It's a shame as I would have loved to continue with the indoor climbing.

My friends have a membership here and brought me using their guest pass. I thought I wouldn't be able to do any of the climbs but I had to start somewhere right? For the first time use, the staff asks you to complete a waiver form electronically. I rented some shoes and a chalk bag. I highly recommend this place.

Great gym. Large number of routes and bouldering space

I LOVE this climbing gym. Really nice walls, great bouldering and top-rope. The belay test seems a little lax.

Great Facility. Very clean. I moved here from Southern California where SenderOne is the big gym. I think ET is better.

Did an introduction to relay climbing here, very friendly staff and had a good time. It gets VERY busy on weekends and the changing room often has no lockers available.

Background: climber for 13 years, member at ETCC for 4 months and just switched to SportRock

The good: incredible facilities, great setting and wall diversity, top notch training area, and fantastic leading opportunities...

The bad: you can hardly hear yourself think in here. There are so many people any time a working professional (who gets out of the DC area on the weekend) would go that it is absolute madness. In fact, there are so many people that the gym has zero sense of community, it is harder to talk to people or find a core group of climbers than any gym I've been to. My wife, also a long term climber, has anxiety and this gym was unbearable for her.

At the minimum they need to add sound absorbing panels to reduce noise, but something drastic needs to be done about the overcrowding.

Bouldered here for several months. This is literally the perfect gym (especially as compared to the 3 good, but not great gyms in the south I've climbed at over the last few years). Great location, free parking (past 4 pm), massive bouldering space, variety of types of routes (slopey, crimpy, big moves, technical, etc), great gradation of difficulty (aka no inexplicably massive jump from v2 to v3, appropriately massive jump between 4 and 6), fun setting, well maintained facilities, and friendly staff. Prices are expensive, but I get enough value out of it that I think it's justified. Hands down my favorite setting of any gym I've climbed at.

Has substantial lead, top rope, and bouldering sections. The setters create a variety of styles and they set a good mix of grades for all levels. I love the walls, they have a more rock-like form than plywood walls I've seen at other gyms. Training area in the back is also great, and they have a full weight setup and treadmills. I haven't taken any of their non-climbing classes, but I know they have core and yoga as well. Their Rendezvous on the third Friday every month is really fun! Free unlimited beer once you are finished climbing.

I was in town visiting friend and decided check this lace out since it was highly recommended. Definitely fell in love with this gym. Huge tall walls which made for great climbing. They also had into routes which was great for my friends since they have never climbed before. Which we had a gym like this back in CT.

This gym has everything you could need. Yoga classes, core classes, treadmills, free weights, and the list goes on. The staff is amazing and always helpful. It gets really busy on weeknights from 6 - 7:30, so come early or stay late. The climbing is awesome!

Really clean locker room. Nice bouldering area. Staff was friendly. Everything one would expect from a big money climbing gym. Rates are a bit high for a day pass even if it's D.C.

An awesome gym with lots of wall space! The lead section is huge with so many cool overhung routes! If you like to boulder there are more problems than you can ever dream of finishing! Earth treks also offers really good fitness and yoga classes to members.

Pretty awesome place! But I'm giving it 3 stars, because I believe they overcharge on many of their goods and "deals". They have a family membership that some how does not work with siblings (I'm a twin, and they won't let my twin and I create a family membership). It only works for married people and their kids. I don't know why this establishment is so strict with their family membership plans when they make more than enough money through training sessions and other courses they offer.

Very big gym with some great Boulder routes! I wish I was staying for another day way to much to climb in one night! Well thought out problems and even a competition style at that according to locals gets reset every 1-2 weeks. I unfortunately didn't get to climb the ropes so I can't comment on the routes but there was plenty of routes
