Love this gym. It's a regular joe's gym for people who are serious about getting personalized training. T180 has a real family vibe and the trainers will work with you on your goals. I joined in 2015 (I think) with nagging injuries that they helped me work through and last year they prepped me to fun my first marathon completely injury-free. Solid advice on fitness focused nutrition too.

True180 has small group training sessions (basically personal training), classes, and open gym times. You choose your adventure. Be your own Dora the Explorer.
Also, this gym is a community. There are women and men, young and old, fitness fanatics and those just starting their fitness journey. It's a cool mix of supportive and upbeat people.
oined this gym 3 years ago and can't live without it now. In addition to the workouts, the people (coaches and members) are amazing. Everyone encourages each other and I think all decades from teen to 70s are represented here.
This is the best gym I have ever found. The trainers are committed to their clients. The clients are supportive of each other and motivate each other to reach their own fitness goals. I have been a member for over 7 years and still get to the gym 4-5 days a week because I love the place, the trainers and the clients!

Superb, one-on-one coaching. No gimmicks. Just a good understanding of and knowledge about developing core strength and flexibility. Its also fun! I've been to a lot of gyms and this is the best to date.

The Body You Want is an absolutely awesome gym. I have worked closely with Josef and Matt, and they have both taught me so much about how to build strength and burn fat. I had previously lost 80 lbs on my own, and they helped me to transform my body even further, and taught me things about nutrition and fitness that I didn't know (and I thought I knew a lot!) The trainers really really care about your health and well-being, unlike my experience at bigger gyms or even more corporate studios in the DC area. What I really liked was the fact that everyone at this gym was different - different ages and levels of fitness, and everyone had their own custom plan. The extra support and training is totally worth it, and the entire staff is always willing to answer questions and help you get to your personal best. I contacted The Body You Want when I found out I would be in Georgetown for 3 weeks on business. I was looking for a place to workout but I got so much more! The classes were amazing but it was the individualized sessions with Michelle where I learned so very much. I learned how my body was not functioning well and corrective exercises to help. Everything I tried was met with encouragement and an occasional challenge. I have taken away so much from my 3 weeks!

I love TBYW! I have been a member for a year and a half now and I can truly say that I still love coming here. The staff is amazing, support, and non-judgmental. After suffering from pain and limited mobility, I saw results almost immediately after joining. Over a year later, I am pain free, more flexible, and stronger than I have ever been. Cannot recommend this gym enough.
