Liz is a wonderful instructor with great cues throughout the TRX class to make you feel comfortable and confident with the exercises. The class hit every body part & had modifications if needed. Highly recommend a class with Liz!

Adorable studio that really covers all the bases. Barre, yoga, spin, and TRX. I've done all 4, and the last time I was there I took a spin class - great instructor. She really paid attention to the mood of the class and worked with us, as do all instructors at LavaBarre. Also, the amenities are awesome and can get ready for the day without having to schlep all my products around all day. Thanks for the workout!

Very convenient to book online or through the ap. Great variety of class times to fit any schedule and many different class options. Constantly new and innovative classes being added all the time! Love it!

I love this studio and love all the personalized classes. It's fun, it's clean, and it's always a great workout. Their schedule is so accommodating and the instructors are awesome.

My friend and I were staying at the hotel across the street and decided to try one of their cycle classes. The instructor was super nice and accommodating (it was out first time). The class itself was a nice challenge and we would definitely recommend coming here

Instructors are very accommodating. There isn't much I can do because of a physical disability, but the staff are always willing to accommodate me without making me feel like a distraction to the rest of the class. I appreciate it and will definitely come back.

Such a great environment at this studio. It always smells amazing in there, is very clean, and everyone that works there is welcoming and helpful.They give you a chilled towel at the end of every class that is scented with lavender, and it is the perfect special touch at the end of a workout.
Close to my home and a tough workout. Good music, fast-paced and left me sore for days (a good thing!). The hour-long class flew by because it was so fun.
I absolutely LOVE LavaBarre! They are the only studio I have found that has a full variety of fitness classes at convenient times. I regularly take LavaBarre's cycle, barre, TRX and yoga classes. All the classes and teachers are wonderful, and the front desk staff is very friendly and efficient. I took LavaBarre's classes all through my first pregnancy. Not only were the teachers able to give appropriate modifications as my pregnancy progressed, but they were genuinely excited about my pregnancy. I have recently just started working out again after the birth of my child. It was great to walk into the studio for the first time in a few months, and have the front desk staff and teachers immediately remember me, and welcome me back.
I am so happy i finally found a studio that combines all of my favorite work outs! I always loved spinning and barre but could never afford to do both, with Lava Barre I am able to mix up my work outs without paying the price of two separate memberships! Definitely recommend!

At first I was intimidated by the idea of trying TRX, but I'm so glad I did it! Great atmosphere and instructors here, and I've loved trying new things in a comfortable space!
This was my first time going to a class. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the class was very challenging but there were plenty of modifications so I felt like it would work for many levels. LOVE the cold towel at the end!
I've been to over 30 different boutique gyms in the DC area and LavaBarre is by far the best I've been to. I really enjoyed the challenging nature of the class as well as the small class size. It felt more personal and hands on. The studio is very clean, open, and welcoming! As a DC resident, I'd make the trip to work out here. Great experience!

I have been going to Soul Cycle lately, and a friend recommended I give Lava Barre a try. I was late literally 6 minutes, and Vamata the lady at the front desk expressed how the instructor hates when people walk into her session late. Also, I was charged a full session for cancelation. Nevertheless, now I know why people prefer soul cycle, at least for one reason: great customer service.
