Best yoga studio I have been to in the area! Very welcoming environment. The instructors are challenging yet will meet you where you are in your practice.

If I could give it more stars, I would! I have always been one to jump around to different yoga studios looking for the one place I like the best. When I moved to DC from Austin, I signed up for class pass and gave Edge Yoga a try. It shares a building with the bartending school, but don't let the location fool you! You can't hear them, and the studio is a nice size to enjoy an awesome yoga session. Edge Yoga is hands down offers the BEST, most versatile, and challenging yoga I have ever experienced.

While with some studios you find your favorite instructor and you only go to those classes, at Edge I have gone to three instructors classes (Mark, Nikki & Georgia) and I walked out literally loving all of them. Great hands on assists, which allows you to actually see what your body is truly capable of, a friendly, open atmosphere, and an opportunity to leave the mat feeling refreshed and ready to conquer your day.

You won't want to pass up this opportunity!

Great AM class this morning. We had a sub, so I can't really speak to the regular teacher. However, the studio is conveniently located and I really enjoyed the small intimate nature of the class. I was told by the other students that this class was pretty similar to the classes normally taught.

No problem if you don't have a mat, they have ones to borrow. There are cubbies to store your bag/shoes as well.

It is a single room in the same building as the bartending school in Courthouse/Clarendon. I am not sure about the noise later in the day, but I could hear people outside talking even though it was a 6am class.

Overall, great studio. Looking forward to come back to try one of the other instructors.

Just one room, and shares the floor with, of all things, a bartending school -- which can be loud at times, but once you get inside this has been the best yoga classes I've taken. Get there early b/c the small space fills up quickly, but you will walk out of there dripping in sweat and feeling amazing.
