The gym is currently wrapping up renovations and I was a bit apprehensive due to the condition. However, I had the best experience there. The customer service has been consistently stellar. I was a little intimidated at first, but that quickly went away after interacting with the staff the first few visits. Everyone is very helpful. If I wasn't sure about a piece of equipment, they were quick to show me while providing tips on form.
I hate going into the gym without a workout in mind. Otherwise I am not as productive. I met with a couple trainers for an initial session and right away felt more motivated and confident.
The shower/locker room is big with plenty of space to shower and change. Tons of lockers and open room.
The equipment is super versatile, so whatever you're into, they probably have you covered. I highly recommend at least taking a tour.
If it's important to you, the male/female ratio is great, in the sense, as a female I'm not surrounded by a bunch of guys to make it feel intimidating. I've been in at different times of the day on week days and weekends and there is a versatile crowd where everyone seems to fit in great; whether you're into cycling, circuit machines, cardio, group classes, free weights, or crushing it on the bar - you'll find your thing.
The parking is super easy, even with the construction (which will be done soon). They validate the parking which makes it even more convenient.
Alternatively, I run from Rosslyn area to the gym to get extra cardio in.
Not to mention it's conveniently located at the metro/bus stop.
I highly recommend checking this place out.
If you are looking for that extra push to get you into shape faster or have questions about your health and fitness journey, I recommend speaking to Ram or Roosevelt! They are super helpful and have a ton of knowledge. I have seen the results from working with them almost immediately.
