The two stars are really just for the staff and the steam room. This place was always packed full of people and you can never get on a machine, I understand that's not the gyms fault, but it's just a fun fact and really unfortunate if you're paying for a workout you'll never fully get. Another reason for the low review is my fiance and I had moved out of state which resulted in us canceling our membership. We were members for almost two years and we both had to pay a $70 cancellation fee even though we were told that after 6 months, the cancellation fee was free. I even found a review talking about the fees and the owner replying saying that there was no cancellation fee after 6 months. So tell me, if it was free to cancel, why did we have to pay $70 to cancel?

Nicest gym in the area...Sauna and steam rooms are a must have. Yes, the gym is super busy at times, which is why i have 4 stars instead of 5. PS: Bring your own towel for the showers :)

New member but very pleased so far. Childcare is clean and my kids are happy. Class selection is very good. Would recommend.

4 starts for pushing app instead of allowing key tags. I hate bringing my phone in to the gym.

Do yourself a favor and don't bother signing up for this money grabbing sham of a gym. First of all, half of Greeley goes to the gym here. Try to go any time after 5 and you'll be hard pressed to find a corner of the gym where you can breathe. Nonetheless, I can't really blame the gym for this. They try to sell themselves as "cheap" and the facilities are new so they really get you there. But the truly worst part of this racket is all the fees. Want to downgrade your membership? Fee. Want to cancel? Fee. They also have the most ridiculous fee I've ever heard of. They call it the rate guarantee fee. They charge you $40 or $50 once a year so that they don't raise your membership fee. They are basically charging you so that they don't charge you more. It's ridiculous. How about you just be an honest and upfront company and just tell members if you plan to raise prices ahead of time? I think most people would appreciate that much more than some comically invented fee that is basically a disguised rate increase. Also, I downgraded my membership after 6 months. I then tried to cancel 3 months later. There's no way they can wrangle a fee out of this one right? Wrong. I got a fee! Supposedly, after 6 months there aren't any fees for cancelling or downgrading. But guess what, if you downgrade, your membership starts all over and you will get a fee if you want to cancel or if you move. This was not mentioned when I downgraded (for which I did not sign a new contract). Like I said, stay far, far away from this place. Sign up for the Rec Center, it's much better and in the end cheaper.

VASA facilities are full of anything that you would need to complete your workout. The customer service team is also amazing! I wanted a membership but was moving in a month so I would have to cancel and they waived the fee as a courtesy!! Would most definitely recommend to anyone.

Great place! Superior service, friendly no- pressure atmosphere. Best price, cannot be beat.

Honestly I love this gym, the people are great and the equipment is awesome and very clean. Unfortunately I recently got charged a $70 "rate guarantee fee" that I was not aware was coming, the place is nice but the corporate hidden fees suck.

Becoming a common occurrence that the person that is suppose to open in the mornings doesn't show or doesn't have keys to open the door. Training staff is rude and pushy. The restricted area and team rooms are a waste of space, team room isn't in use often but the trainers insist on trying to put on classes in the general workout areas instead of their dedicated areas. Machines are starting to fall apart and doesn't seem like there is any sort of maintenance on them and becoming filthy due to wipes not being available. I have also been given some run around on billing, was told about a month after I signed up I had 12 person trainer sessions this wasn't something I signed up for, I was told it was part of the team training. When I wanted to cancel I was told I couldn't and had to wait 6 months and the staff at the location couldn't help me with cancel, feel they can sign me up they should be able to help me cancel.

The vasa fitness family are amazing! The trainers understood my problems and worked together with me to correct them and to use their equipment the proper way. They also gave me proper workouts to do at home to help in my daily routine.

The gym is clean and outfitted with great equipment. The staff is ALWAYS friendly! The trainers are hard working (their internship is unpaid) and delightful. But, the company behind the scenes is money hungry and deceitful. We were sold "personal training" and our account details "one on one" - yet the training sessions have never been one on one and the training is a routine predesignated for all - the only thing "personal" is the amount of weight or number of reps each person is assigned. I offered this feedback on a weekly survey. I spoke with a rep and was told someone would phone me but they never did. After four months, I tried to cancel. I phoned the corporate office today and waited on hold for over 15 minutes. The rep who finally answered told me I would not be let out of the contract. If I had my bank refuse the auto payment, I would be turned in to collections.

Love this gym best one I've been too the staff is awesome and the range of activities, programs, and equipment is incredible. Keep up the great job. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

I would suggest being VERY careful before enrolling. My wife bought me a membership that included a "personal trainer". She had stated that I needed to let her know right away if I wasn't going to do it because the contract stated that she had only 3 days to cancel. My immediate response when I found out the exorbitant amount of the membership and personal trainer was to say cancel. I then relented and said I would get a session with my personal trainer to see what kind of plan that he would have for me. It was my naive assessment that a personal trainer would be someone that would assess my current health, establish goals, and give some advice as to nutrition. Instead I was put in a group with 4 other members and had my workout. I was told after the session that my trainer would be Shawn and that he would contact my before my next session. He contacted me a couple days before and when I showed up, we went right into the workout. I have had 5 sessions and have yet to have any consult. I was told that the trainer's job was to "kick my ass", and I told him good job, because that was certainly accomplished. Now I am having health issues and have missed my last 3 sessions and have been unable to go to the gym and was told that the membership and training sessions were non-refundable because she signed the contract. My only recourse was to contact member services because they did not have anyone with the authority at the gym to do anything.
Come on people, this is a relationship business that relies on word of mouth as well as satisfied clients. Are you really going to hold the line on this?

Love this place! Very friendly staff, and great amenities! Would be 5 stars if they were open later on Sundays. I usually workout at 6 or 7 pm to avoid the crowds.

Big new facility. Lots of parking and easy to find. Solid line up of programs and activities for all skill level.

The employees are always nice, especially Chelsea and John! They always make an effort to know their guests, many by name. The facility is clean and maintained well. The other guests are typically respectful of space. I have been to one other VASA location. The Greeley location is maintained much better and the staff is more friendly compared to the other. For the price and all of the available equipment, I don't know why anyone in the area would pick a different gym.

I got a membership here and the training and trainers are good . However with my work schedule and being out of town for a few months . I tried to cancel and was more or less blackmailed and threatened into keeping my membership. I called cooperate office a couple months later cause I was frustrated . In the end you can cancel anytime you want . With a 5 dollar fee and a one month notice . Meaning you pay one months worth if fees. Don't let them tell you other wise .

Great atmosphere. The equipment is awesome, and they have some great facilities. However, on busy days you'll be waiting a while for equipment. I've had to completely change my schedule in order to work out there. Sometimes you can't even find a parking spot.

The gym facility is ok. I thought the locker rooms could have been cleaner.

I highly recommend getting a basic membership. The team training is extremely expensive and my experience with the trainer was not good.

Cancelling a membership with this company is a nightmare. They will take every cent they can from you and are very difficult to work with. All I wanted was to discuss my situation with a manager, and was good day after day that the account was under review and someone would be in touch but no one ever called. Every time I called in and asked to speak to a manager, I was told they were in a meeting.

This is not a very good place to go to. No one has gym etiquette here. People take your weights while you're working out with them & then act like you did something wrong when you say something nicely! Even had a staff member not on shift, on personal time, do this! Always messed up in childcare & had late charges even though we were never late. Only good thing is they took off the charges. Tried for months at this gym & it never got better only worse! Always packed as well! Wouldn't go back even if it was free! I'd give negative stars if I could! Also my husband got horrible athletes foot from here! People harass you when you're using a piece of equipment they want to use & you're not getting off when want you to. If the equipment is in use, use something else till it's open. This is basic gym etiquette! Horrible place!
