The first thing I noticed about this gym is how clean it is every day. I've been to several gyms here in Fort Collins over the last 10 years, and this is by far the "best kept" in town. The equipment is in great shape, plentiful, and consistently serviced. Beyond that, the programming is extremely challenging, yet very adaptive to all ability levels. I consider myself an experienced cross fitter, and couldn't believe how much more challenging the programming was compared to my previous crossfit gym. The athletes and coaches at this gym immediately pushed me to a level my previous gym was not able to. I would recommend this gym to all levels, from first time to experienced, as they are well suited for everyone. It was tough to leave the comfort of the gym I had gone to for a long period of time. My only regret is not switching to DNR long before I did.
I moved to Fort Collins two years ago knowing absolute no one, and Crossfit DNR was the first place I made friends. Everyone is extremely nice and its such a fun environment. Besides, all the coaches are amazing and they really care about you, making sure you have proper form and don't hurt yourself. If you're new to Crossfit, you're gonna love it! For the experienced athletes, it's also an awesome place for your training, with a really motivated comp crew and excellent coaching.
I was apprehensive about starting cross fit initially but Kodi and Kyle inspired me to continue cross fit even after I moved out of Fort Collins. All the trainers here were really awesome. It is a great community and you will have fun burning those calories.
When Kody invited me to DNR, I admit that I was apprehensive about what CrossFit was. I have been on and off with more traditional gyms and liked them enough, but what DNR has is truly something special. With my time at this gym, every one of the coaches has helped me become better. No matter the level of physical fitness, the individuals and staff at DNR will encourage you to be your best. I have learned so much and continue to do so under the guidance professional well-trained coaches but also through the community that DNR has cultivated within the City of Fort Collins. So, if you are looking to make a change, find a gym, or simply try something new, I recommend this gym above all others.
I walked-in knowing nothing about crossfit and fell in love with fitness/crossfit because of Crossfit DNR. Its an amazing community and has the best trainers. I cannot recommend enough.Just start here, you will love it.
Crossfit DNR is an awesome establishment with great and mindful staff. Whether you're experienced in crossfit or not these guys will not only take care of you they will closely observe you to ensure that you are getting the workout and coaching you need to be successful. These guys make crossfit accessible and fun. The community of the gym is also top notch. Their facility is simple but completely equipped and able to meet all of your crossfit needs in a clean and professional environment.
This is a great community oriented organization ran by two brothers. They partnered with our organization, Vets4Life, without hesitation to help transitioning veterans. Their coaches are phenomenal and they are driven to help teach and grow the community they are in.
Worked out here for my month stay in Fort Collins. Even though I was only in town for a month the couches were super nice and always gave great feedback. Programming was awesome too. I would def recommend this gym.

Can. Not. Recommend. This. Gym. Enough.
I was very against the idea of Crossfit for so long (bias about Crossfitters not caring about form, etc.). Everyone at Crossfit DNR showed me what Crossfit is truly about. The coaches pay incredible attention to detail with form, and have shown me ways to improve my mobility, strength, endurance, and as result, I have done a complete 180 in my views about Crossfit (basically an addict now). In fact, I would say I was humbled (let's be honest, I thought I was decently in shape before and knew better than the coaches about some things... first metcon I realized I had a lot of work to do, lessons to learn, and an ego to majorly check). The coaches (and members) are some of the most welcoming, encouraging, and attentive people you'll ever meet. I've found my "Crossfit home", and will forever use it as the standard to which I compare other Crossfit gyms. My only wish is that my job wasn't in Boulder and was instead closer to Fort Collins so I wasn't only coming here 1-2 days a week!

The best coaches around. They're competitive, yet laid back. Demanding, yet approachable. You've found your gym. Stop looking. 6 pack abs? Maybe at those other gyms. Try 12 pack abs here. Walk in the door and you get fit. That's how it works here. This is your home now. You will be fit. You will have good hair.

Fantastic environment - coaches really care about you as an athlete - have been very informative to me coming into the CrossFit world with zero experience
Would recommend to anyone regardless of your current health
They start all new athletes with a solid 3 week foundations + intro class, making sure people get their movement patterns down, become aware of mobilty issues, etc. The coaches' attention to form is remarkable, and I have definitely heard advice around dropping weight and improving form for all sorts of athletes, whereas nobody pushes anybody to go heavier. The community within the gym is outstanding, full of mutual encouragement, advice, cheering for each other, and friendships beyond the gym. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Knowledgeable and friendly coaches - childcare available and showers on site are a major bonus - mobility programmed into each class is super beneficial too
I visited DNR for a CrossFit competition (FoCo Throwdown) in January 2018. I'm not a member, and do not attend regular classes, so I can't speak to the day-to-day (I live an hour away).
What I can say is this...
Their coaches are incredibly friendly and they put together an awesome competition. Their members, who served as judges & volunteers for the event, were also really nice. I felt a great sense of community, which is what CrossFit is all about.
I have nothing but great things to say about this place, and if you're considering CrossFit, I recommend you check them out.
Absolutely love this gym! Kody and Kyle are great coaches who genuinely care about everyone of their clients. They always have extra coaches for every class to watch and help everyone out with their form or to answer any questions they may have. They both have backgrounds in gymnastics, which I believe helps them with the ability to explain movements easier to clients who are new to weightlifting. Overall a very friendly and fun environment for anyone who is interested in trying out crossfit.
The entire crew at this gym is amazing. They are more than willing to accommodate any level of person that signs up there. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to find a new gym.
If you have ever thought about joining a CrossFit gym or lacked the motivation to really work hard when you get to the gym, you need to try CrossFit DNR. The owners are two brothers, kody and kyle and not only are the educated in proper technique for the workout lifts but they are great motivators and always make you feel comfortable even if you don't have much experience like I did. I highly recommend this gym, so give it a try!
If you have been considering CrossFit at all this gym is the place to start. Great intro program and the coaches are concerned with making sure you are learning the movements safely and not on lifting beyond your means. I have been going for almost 2 years now and the gains I have seen in my fitness level and strength is incredible!
I cannot recommend these guys enough!
This place is the real deal. As a Marine who sustained a back injury, I was hesitant to commit to new workout regimens and my health/fitness was beginning to reflect. I met Kody, a trainer at DNR, who spoke to me about mobility and rehabilitation training. Immediately I was able to tell that DNR staff are impressively knowledgeable and passionate about fitness and so I agreed to come in for some personal training sessions. I learned more about form, mobility, warm-ups, and my own body in just 2 sessions with Kody than I did in the several years I have been lifting (I am also an ISSA Master Trainer). I was blown away by the professionalism and overall friendly atmosphere of DNR from the staff all the way down to the gym members themselves. If I did not have to move I would absolutely have continued my membership.
