I generally like this gym and its pretty nice, but my one complaint makes me so mad that I have to get on google and complain about it. These guys rent out their gym at night to give private lessons to kids. If you want to play basketball on weeknights, you can't do it between 3 and 4 nights out of the week during hours you would normally be able to get a run in. It's absolutely insane to me that a private gym sells their space and takes away recreation from paying members, so they can make more money on 10 year olds having a practice. Who on earth OK'd this decision? So many people like basketball... what are you thinking.
I have worked out at various 24 Hour Fitness facilities over the years. I was in the area of this one and saw the 3.0 rating. I decided to give it a try anyway, being so close. Not sure where others are coming from. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The facility was clean, machines were in very good condition, great variety and numerous machines to choose from. Clientele seemed down to earth with very little "plasticity".
I enjoy going to their studio yoga classes Tues and Thurs during lunch. The teachers are great. On Tuesday they haven't found a new teacher yet. We have subs every Tuesday. When yoga classes are cancelled they are supposed to update the 24 hour application. That has been done maybe once in the w years I've been a member. I walked in today with my yoga mat past the front desk. Made it to the yoga room. No one was there. Went to the front desk and asked an employee who looked like he was too busy to talk with me. I said has class been cancelled? He said yes the last class was at 11:30am. I said how come when I walked in and yohad my yoga mat on my shoulder you didn't tell me? Or why wasn't it updated in the app? He said it's the teachers responsibility. So very helpful if the application isn't updated and the employees don't tell you either. I would chalk this up to it being Xmas Eve but this is the second or third time this experience has happened to me. Do better!
It is absolutely a joke that a "24h Fitness" is only a 20h now. I have been going there for years after I finish work at 01:00 A.M. Now I can't go to the gym anymore because the only time I have free is from 1 AM to 3 AM. Congratulations 24h Fitness. You just lost a few customers (not that you guys care).
Typical 24. Has a decidedly 90's decor vibe that I actually kind of love. Good variety of equipment, can be very busy but mostly respectful crowd just looking to get a good pump.
Excellent mainstay in area for all things fitness related. Freeweights, power rack, barbell cages, weight machines, cardio machines, basketball court, classes offered, locker rooms, dry sauna, pool, showers and some gyms offer child care. Parking is always free.
All 24 hour fitness gyms have variances in what is offered, for example some are "Super Sports" and so there is a towel service. One or 2 gyms have smoothie bars built in, one or 2 gyms have racquetball courts, and some have wet and dry saunas.
Pick the one closest to you, and just go and get on track with your fitness goals!

If your joining a fitness center for the gym DO NOT join! Gym is often closed (they rent it out) 4-5 days a week from 5-9pm. Gym is also not very well maintained, plenty of old outdated equipment, and things that need to be repaired/fixed are not done in a timely manner if ever done. By far my worst experience with a gym. Not sure how this gym has survived. Cancelling and Joining Vasa (highly recommend)

Could use hooks in the showers to keep towels and clothes dry, off the floor. Nice and quiet. Staff seem to know what's going on, and polite when I've been in.
Okay gym. Way too pricey for what they offer, never enough equipment during busy times. Equipment itself is fine, nothing special. If you can do Gold's gym/Vasa it's much better deal because the "extra" things you get here don't really make it worth it. Staff is friendly enough. Needs more free weights. Wish there were more gym options in the area.

The worst 24 hour fitness club of all time! This is why this club stands out the crowd.
Pros.
Best chest equipments
I've got a love/hate deal with this place. It's always busy, and at peak hours, forget sticking to any routine, you just gotta do what you can get. There's not nearly enough equipment for how busy it consistently is but it's also limited in size so it doesn't seem there's much that can be done about it. Besides that, it's generally clean, staff is always friendly at the front, and the atmosphere (even when busy) is pretty good. Never any meat heads or ego maniacs hogging up equipment or doing curls in the power racks. If you don't mind being adaptable with your routine, it's a pretty good gym.
Living in the area, I have been to this 24 hour fitness off and on for the last 10 or so years. It's gotten progressively more dirty and all around out of date. I took a break and went to go sign back up and the tactics they use are very salesy to go along with several hidden fees such as sign up fees and annual fees. One drop in session is $20, which is absurd, and the special offers aren't so special when you add up all the extra fees. They will also try and upsell you with personal training sessions. There are better places to go. The only thing good about this place is convenience. Other than that, it's best days are behind it.
I go specifically for the basketball gym and pickup games. They rent out the basketball gym to youth sports teams during prime hours throughout the week when it is most convenient for working adults to go to the gym (6 pm to 9pm). That is terrible for paying members who go there for the facilities and they are unable to use it because the gym is blocked off. Terrible concept of a membership gym contracting with youth sports teams when there are members who now cant use what they're paying for.
Came about 8 on a Friday, not to crowed at all its actually perfect time to come. The workout areas are a little dirty. The only part that sucks is parking, there is a Whole foods and movie theater so it gets a little crazy in the parking lot.
Love the place! Plenty of equipment to go around. Front desk is friendly and welcomes you and bids goodbye when leaving. If anything, it is usually a rare customer who alternates between two or three machines and wouldn't let others in. I have not been to other places for a comparison as this place has everything I use.
Weight and cardio areas are clean enough and there seems to be enough equipment for everyone. I don't know why anyone would complain about that - this is a populated area, it's gonna get busy during peak times. If you don't like it when it's busy (like I don't), go during times when it's less busy. I usually wake up around 5AM to go during the weekdays, and around 6AM to go during the weekends, and it's always a ghost town when I go. You get what you pay for equipment-wise - sometimes it's broken and some of the machines are creaky, but most of the time the next time you come in it's working fine. I don't think anyone really has a right to complain about that when it's $25/month and most other gyms are charging upwards of $100.
However, the low score is because this gym seems to be obsessed with running the heat. Pro-tip: there are only roughly 8 days in Colorado cold enough for a gym to need to run the heat like you guys do. The vast majority of the time, if someone is cold in a gym, tell them they're obviously not working out hard enough. Pack a towel, because it gets crazy hot in here, enough to cut workouts short, around 20% of the time. Bonus half a star taken off because whenever I go here they have Fox "News" playing on half the TVs, so ya get dinged for propagating that nonsense.
The GM, Michael, is kind and helpful. The staff and trainers are really friendly, they have positive attitudes and keep the gym clean. This gym is never too crowded and it's easy to get in and out of there.
I've been reading the complaints about this location and I don't quite understand it. I've been a member for a little over 5 years and I've never had an issue. It's never really crowded when I go (usually around 2pm.) The machines sometimes have garbage on or around them but I don't find that to be a huge deal, because it's usually clean the next time I come in. The weight area does have a lot more people and sometimes I don't get the chance to do what I'd like but that's not a huge deal for me either. I've seen two trainers from here. Both have been helpful. The one i see currently is very friendly and I genuinely enjoy going in for those. I don't use the showers or anything in the pool room so I can't speak on those but overall this a very nice location. The staff is always very nice and I get what I need done and leave. It's a very chill location and I will continue to come in
I really prefer this 24 hour because i have never really had to wait for equipment to use (unless it is during rush hour, 4-7pm). My only gripe is that the restrooms always smell horrible. Why don't they just put bleach drip machines into the urinals?
Avoid this place like the plague. I say this because this literally is the type of place where plagues begin. The restroom is consistency filthy, smells of strong piss and doesn't even have towels. Not a single person in this gym wipes down their equipment because there are NEVER any towel near by. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
