I started going to this OTF after moving downtown from Wash Park. (The one in Wash Park is great!) This Union Station one is a little more cramped than others I have been to in the Denver area (but I guess that's downtown). The trainers here also just didn't have the same comradery as those at the Wash Park location.
The real reason for my dissatisfaction came with the cancellation process. I got injured while working out here (two stress fractures) and had to put my account on hold during my recovery. I was hoping to be able to go back but then found out I was moving across the country. I called to have my account taken off hold, then went into the gym when that month's fee was up to cancel my membership. The people at the front desk told me I was all set/canceled and that the manager would call me if there were any issues. A month later I was charged the full price fee again ($160)! I called to ensure that my account was canceled and see why I was charged. The person on the phone told me it was a mistake, and that my account was actually canceled. I was told I would be refunded within a few days. The refund never came so I called again the next week. The person on the phone said they saw in "my notes" that I was supposed to be refunded, she told me the manager would be in on Monday, and would process the refund or call me if there were any issues. Again, my refund was never processed and I never received a call from the manager. Still waiting...
Also, they bribe members for leaving a 5 star review by entering them into a raffle for swag...
OTF is a great workout but there are better OTFs in the area with better management. I have had no issues canceling/transferring memberships at other OTF locations.
