Too many new year's resolutioners and not enough equipment. They keep running promotions to sign up more people. Told the front desk person I'll go to another gym and she said, "Oh well."
People need to realize this is a 24 Hour "Active" gym - which means it's smaller. Once you get past that, this gym is great for your everyday workouts. Sure, you might have to compensate here or there if you have a very specific routine in mind and it is busy, but to some complainers it seems that everything has to be more than perfect for them. I've found what times work well for me, and I love it; especially with this location being a two-minute walk from my house. My main complaint is that this club could use a thorough, detailed clean.
Good location and friendly staff, but when actually utilizing the gym? Locker rooms are so small they are virtually unusable. Equipment is ancient. The parking lot has no lighting at night and is unsafe.
Very easy to sign-up, has a wide range of equipment is incredibly reasonably priced. Usually not very crowded - I tend to go around 5am weekdays and 7am or so weekends. I left Colorado Athletic Club Union Station because of overcrowding and limited equipment. If definitely has more amenities but I like 24hr much better.
Great gym
24 hour at this location is small and really busy at peak hours. It forces me to try new exercises because of equipment being used up, but it is still nice. It is nice because of that area it is in. Sprouts is next door, people that go there are awesome, the staff is great. I love it.
Could use a bit more glute equipment, couple more squat racks, but I'll just improvise.
All 24 hour fitness places are dirty, but they have the equipment I need at the sport gyms(plenty here)and it is cheap if you do the Cosco membership deal.
2 years, $400. That comes out to $16.67 a month.
At $30 a month, the lowest price you can usually talk the sales people down to is no more what I would pay for the gym since of
cleaning/maintenance
Locations are everywhere in Denver, however if you travel very often or a beginner in working out, consider Planet fitness. Cleaner facilities, tanning included, and Nationwide.

I have ALWAYS been treated well by the staff. Clinetel always friendly. Always clean. My only complaint is the small changing rooms.

It's small, and during rush hours crowded. Wish they would haul away some equipment. Learn to work around it, despite other reviews equipment is well maintained.

Nice place to work out at a very cheap price. The place is clean and very spacious.
The staff here is not only very friendly. But they provide a meticulously clean place to get some exercise. Thanks.
Ok I may be biased since I already have a membership to 24 hour fitness. For the most part, they are .. mostly clean, but still smell of mid- aughts sweat and rubber coated plate weights. A few have the towel service, a few have the smoothie bar, some have many squat racks, some have steam and dry saunas, some have programmable locks on the lockers.
I've learned to ignore the deficiencies and focus on the pump. Friendly staff at all, including trainers. All have plenty of complimentary parking, all have lap pools, all have free weights, all have a variety of cardio machines. Just pick the closest one and go!
For the life of me I cannot understand why all of the benches in the dumbbell area are fixed. As busy as this gym gets it would only make sense to have all of these benches adjustable. Also it drives me insane that there is only one bench press. Could also benefit from adding another squat rack.

My husband downloaded a FREE 3 day pass to check out the weights, we recently moved to the area so he thought he would check it out. Let me tell u he left feeling completely disrespected and even a little discriminated against. The woman at the front was shoving a membership down his throat and both her and the main account manager told him that he couldn't work out unless he paid a deposit of $10 and that he would have to commit to either month to month or a year membership and he would also have to put a credit card on file. They said it was policy. My husband re read the email that was sent to him for the FREE 3 day pass and no where did it say anything like that. Then she said that his address on his ID wasn't close enough to this location, and when he told her we just moved here she wanted to know the exact day. After he threatened to leave they finally agreed to give him a tour with was half hearted to say the least, the minute they knew they weren't going to rope him in to a pricey membership they wanted nothing to do with him. These people are pushy and have horrible customer service. We will be taking our business to planet fitness on 44th.
I've been going to this location for about 4 months now. I enjoy it, it's your typical 24 hour gym. It's smaller than the ones I've gone to in the past but also tends to be less busy. 4 stars because I would have liked to see at least 2 benches (flat ones, no one uses the angled one) and maybe 3-4 squat/dead zones (that squat bar connected to that track doesn't count). Too many machines being unused, I wonder if things could be rearranged and have a few machines removed to make room for a couple of benches and additional squat zones. It can definitely be frustrating when it's bench or squat and everything is taken even though hardly anyone is there.

This place is really good to get muscle for a cheap price.
Way too small and way too crowded. The yoga class I attended at 6:30 tonight (1/16/18) was quite cold. Heat please!
On a side note the Lakewood location's Spa is very dirty consistently and member's at the gym don't seem to be aware of basic hygiene.
I like 24/hour fitness cuz it's cheap and close to home. I also love the many different weight machines and treadmills. They have cleaning people who clean often but they could upgrade there bathrooms. I wish this location had spin classes but understand that there is not enough space. I also like that this location is literally open 24/7 whereas a few others are not open 24/7.
This gym is nice looking, but is too small and doesn't have a bunch of the equipment I like to use. I will not be coming back here. The equipment is packed in way to close together for what little they have.
my only complaint is that it's a little cramped. but it's clean and has a decent selection of weight machines and freeweights.
Good: Equipment is in good shape, all the staff I've interacted with are super friendly.
Bad: This gym is never not crowded. I work from home and have come in at every possible time between about 9am-4pm. I've literally never been able to use the squat rack or bench press and it's a 50/50 chance that even a single flat bench near the free weights is available. Not the gym's fault but this place is always ridiculously crowded during the day.
The music is so loud you have to have your headphones turned all the way up. Gym is dirty and employees are rude as hell.
Pros:
Great staff
Full TRX set
Large Group X room
Kids area
Large cardio space
Cons:
Squat racks are very limited (I travel to further gyms when doing legs day because of this)
Punching bag is inaccessible
Most crowded 24 hr fitness in Denver
Functional training area is almost always full
Overall it's a great gym if you don't mind waiting for machines or working in with people.
