Monthly fees are fine, but they try to trick you with extra fees.
I tried to cancel my membership before the extra $40 annual membership fee. The person working did not know how to cancel my membership, but said the fee would be cancelled if I came in the day it was supposed to charge and talked to a manager. Of course, that was incorrect and now I have to pay $40 annual fee for a gym membership that I cancelled.
Small gym. No pool or sauna nor basketball court. I like the unusual brand of machines. Changing my workout stresses other muscles. Lockers are old style and my lock did not work on them. Got a loaner lock from the front desk, no problem.

Been going here since it was Bally Total Fitness. Since then, machine and equipment maintenance had improved. Love the punching bags and Fitness studio.
Wendy was amazing, guiding me through how to operate the virtual cycling screen, pretty cool wish we had one here in the OC. Gym was large, lots of space to get the job done. Nice pool too. Very friendly peeps too.
Shady staff, shadier managers, outdated equipment, unusable free weights. Avoid at all costs. Community and regional rec center deal is significantly better.
The best part about this gym is the friendly staff! One of the cleaner 24hr fitnesses in town. Not open 24/7 but it does have good hours. It has well maintained equipment. This gym in particular is probably better for a quick workout since it is smaller than other 24hr fitnesses. For the convenience of the location and what they have to offer, I definitely recommend this location!
Misleading size, overpriced for the amenities they provide which is equivalent to Planet Fitness (well this location at least). No pool, no sauna, no steam room. Broken down, very old looking bathrooms. Their name implies they'd be open 24 hours - Planet Fitness provides a better value by actually being open 24 hours. Machines are outdated. Only one squat rack. Very cramped together. I also got a 3 day pass before joining the gym and oh man what a mistake... their sales staff hassled me EVERY DAY several times a day even though I told them to stop calling me.
No comments on the staff, they're just quiet and to themselves. The gym itself is probably one of the worst gym's I've ever been to. If only Lifetime Fitness wasn't 22 miles away from me I would've kept my membership there. If you're thinking about signing up to this... don't.

This gym sucks. They book the basketball courts for volleyball kid camps during after work hours. I joined the gym so my boyfriend and I could play but learned the gyms are always booked up for non members. The weight machines are old and gross. The staff is rude.
I can't give more than 2 stars based on the absurd overselling of memberships. This is a small facility and not particularly well kept, but these are generally forgivable if I'm able to get in a decent workout. Waiting after every workout for free weights to become available, however, is the straw that broke the camel's back.
I work out here all the time. It's smaller, so not a lot of people on the machines, so I def. Get to get my work out in. I also like that it's not so crowded, no one bothers me, I get it in and out. The bathrooms are always clean when I go there, and I saw a lady complain on here about hispanic thugs that go here. Wow, really. I'm hispanic, so I'm not sure why race would matter. I've never experienced any "thug" trying to hit on me or joke around. The only time I have ever had any male talk to me is when I was doing a machine wrong and he helped me. Everyone has always been very respectful and Honestly it's quiet and I like it that way.

This is one of the worst gyms I've ever been to. I lived in China for a while, where the gyms are filthy and have poor standards. This 24 Hour reminds me of those gyms. I have worked out at several 24 Hour locations in the Denver metro area over the course of my life, and this location's facilities are dirty, poorly laid out, and run down. And they're not actually open 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, it's the closest gym to my new home. I love working out, but this location discourages me from doing so. I will be cancelling my membership asap, and going elsewhere. Don't waste your money.
One of the better locations. The staff are oddly disengaged & frequently don't even say "hello", but I actually prefer this over staff who are too friendly & solicitous. Nice layout. Nice locker rooms. Equipment is in good shape. Belmar is a cute & trendy enclave, giving the neighborhood a friendly, safe feel.
Wasn't overly impressed. From my conversation with a staff member who couldn't quite understand what I meant when I asked if this particular gym had a "wet area" to the close confines of the equipment layout. I kept feeling like my shoulders were going to rub everyone else's.
Yes, it's not the largest 24 Hour Fitness in the metro area and even though I visited at about 5:30PM it wasn't nearly as busy as I would have guessed for that time of day. Not to say it wasn't busy, just not as busy as other 24s in that timeslot. And speaking of 24 hours, this one isn't open 24 hours. A sign on the door indicated it was open for a limited time frame, from the early morning to the evening. Maybe it's a Belmar requirement - I don't know.
I will admit that from certain windows the view to the west was nice.
The men's room was clean, which is all one can really ask for in that regard and most of the equipment was in working order.
Well I think this gym is so so but all of the complaints are valid. It's a combination of people working there and people working out there. People are slow and I swear they are on their phone when at a station or at a machine, probably telling someone they are at the gym... Not much can be done about this just be adaptable.
The employees should walk the floor more and keep order. I have yet to find the sweet spot with respect to ideal workout time. I'll say this, if you have no other option then this will do, but if you have others take them...
I have been coming here for the last couple months on a daily basis, the staff is really nice and equipment is good. The only problem i have is with the guy who fixes the machines, i always see him yet one of the leg curls has been out of service for almost 2 months, what's up with that?
