The staff is friendly, the equipment is clean, and they have all the amenities needed so all you need is your workout clothes and a swimsuit. Everything else is provided. Great atmosphere to workout and also get a chance to relax.
I absolutely LOVE Villa. Everything is very clean and the staff is super friendly. It is a little pricey initially but great deal for a family that wants something to do together. But I feel so good going here I would prioritize a pricier membership here even if it was just for me. Newer equipment, nice pool/ hottub as well as a steam room and sauna. I haven't taken a class yet but am looking forward to it - they have a wide variety of classes, almost all of which are included with your membership. I couldn't recommend this place more.
Love the classes they have something for almost anyone! Yep its pricey, but let me tell you the staff is so kind and the place feels so much cleaner than other gyms I have been to! Love the pool, love that they have an adult pool so you can have a relaxing pool day as well as there being a pool for kids to go to!

First class child care services while getting a work out. I was find the staff friendly and available. No classes yet but looking forward to them in the near future. There also activities to partake in and the overall feel is community-like.
Great gym, with friendly staff,lots of classes to pick from.Fun place to be in Summer , has great pools and a great adult pool with a nice bar.
Absolutely worth the membership price. Fantastic class schedule, clean, and a weight room with all you could need. No hassles in cancelling my membership when I moved away. Absolutely the best gym experience I've ever had.
In my experience . . . . . . the group classes are packed, especially the morning / mid-morning classes. Don't even think about going to a class on a Saturday. The atmosphere in the classes is not welcoming to new people, not due to the instructors but due to the class participants. Clearly there is a contingent of individuals who have been there doing classes for a long time and think they have a reserved spot in the classroom. I actually had one tell me that I was standing in "his" space (never mind that I entered the classroom before him!). My experience has been that you have to get there very early (20-30 minutes before class starts) wait in line to get into the classroom, and then there is a chance that some person who has been a member for a long time (and has nothing to do all day other than group classes and hanging out at the pool) will tell you to move out of "their" spot. Other facilities are nice, although the pool is prone to suffering from the same demand and exclusive atmosphere as the group classes.

Where else can you work out in the morning and enjoy the afternoon POOLSIDE with a margarita- while VillaKids watches and entertains your kids! They have thought this place through in every detail. There are many little areas around the gym that have everything you need for a personal functional workout: Mats, bosu, Stability balls, free weights, med balls, jump ropes, bands, kettle bells. The treadmills have a great view of the mountains. My kids love the pools and slides. My daughters swim coach, Jason, has taught her more in a month, than a lifetime of swim lessons. The front desk staff is always friendly. The locker rooms are clean and stocked with everything you need. The staff has always been very responsive to any needs.

The gym itself is decent sized, but at certain times of the day does get busy enough that you have to wait for equipment a lot of the time. Other than that, the facility itself was great all around. However, when I went to cancel the membership today because I just am not a fan of the mostly family atmosphere as someone just trying to get a good workout in, I ran into a disappointment. I was told on signing up that I could cancel anytime and there would be no cancellation fees. To me, that would mean cancel today, get your pro-rated months worth of fees back, or at least only have to pay to the end of the month. I was informed instead that since it is after the 15th of the month, I will be charged for the next month as well, and retain access to the gym until the end of next month. Yes, it is in the very very lengthy contract that I of course did not take the 2 hours to read word for word. Nevertheless, I consider this to be dishonest marketing on their part as this was quite obviously "conveniently" left out of my initial sign-up discussion with a service member. I also tried to bring my wife in just to try the gym out for a day to see if maybe she would like to join with me. I was informed that I would have to pay a $38 guest fee for her to join for the day, rather than her receiving the same free trial day that I had gotten. Another sour tasting bite provided courtesy of the member service desk. The club itself is great, but in my opinion there is a lot of all-to-familiar distasteful shadiness in the customer service and marketing area. If this information had been more clearly stated in the beginning, I would have easily rated the club 4 or 5 stars.

For this kind of money, I expected more. The place is lackluster with lots of little things wrong with equipment and/or missing parts to equipment or just missing equipment. They had the rock climbing wall sectioned off with 'no admittance. I asked when it would be open and the guide said she didn't know and when asked how long it had been closed she didn't know that either. Additionally, I'm underwhelmed with the kids area. I saw crayons but no play equipment, no area for small children or babies. Maybe my tour guide didn't show me everything but the area for kids was as disappointing as previous reviews painted it to be. I was also underwhelmed with management. It really came off as a place which just wanted our money. There are better places in town with a friendlier staff and areas designed for children. Big expensive disappointment.
Prices are getting a little bit higher each year that goes by, and I have been a member since 2010. Day care has steadily been improving over the years and they up the hours of care to 2hrs 1/2 from 1hr 1/2. They use to do a trip to go white water rafting back in 2011 have not seen it advertise after 2011. The RPM class all the biking programs are some of the best in Colorado Springs.
VillaSport is a family friendly club. I've found the entire facility to be clean, well kept, and free of unwanted odors. I routinely swim laps in the lap swim pool, visit the indoor water park with the kids, and utilize the gym equipment and find all to be quite enjoyable. While I don't often visit the Cafe, each time I have the food has been tasty. All and all, a good place to workout and relax.
Love it! I have two kiddos and the indoor splash/ swimming area for the kids is amazing! Seriously amazing kids daycare, awesome summer camps, for me great variety of classes. I LOVE that the women's locker room does NOT allow kids so it is so peaceful! Private sauna, hot tub, & steam room, showers, and nice locker area for the women's locker room. I assume it's the same for the men. Great swimming lessons for my kids too. Spa is soooooo relaxing and reasonable prices with regular specials to take advantage of! Love!
So many great things to say about Villa!! Great kids watch. Amazing trainers. Many, many classes to choose from. Small group training is my new favorite way to train. Love the locker rooms with the sauna, steam room, and hot tubs. The pools, both indoor and outdoor, are lots of fun and always kept clean. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Their events and activities are a great way to meet people.
Amazing facility!! Beautiful, really well maintained, family friendly. Lots of great events, pools are phenomenal, the group fitness classes are the best in town. The staff is friendly and works really hard to support and serve the members.
This review is based on the fact that I go late at night, and mainly use the hot tub, sauna & steam room. Colin, Courtney and Wendell are outstanding people who make it a truly enjoyable experience for me. It's a great place overall, but the experiences do change based on the time of day you go, and what you're going to be doing. VillaSplash and Villa Kids are amazing for my daughter who is 6. She's always excited to go. We have a family membership.
Been a member at Villa for about three years and recently dropped our family membership for an individual one at $92/mo. as the wife and kids just don't go enough to get value...and paying $170/month was super-expensive!
I primarily use the free-weights and enjoy the club-like atmosphere. The staff is friendly and they take good care of their equipment with recent updates to flooring and in the locker rooms.
Join in February when they offer their zero fee to join promo and since they have no agreements, canceling is pretty easy (although cancel after a certain point in the month and you're on the hook for an extra month).
I've been a member for about 7 years, and I love it. Great staff, great classes, awesome pools. My one suggestion is to open the therapy pool if there is no class going on if the splash pool gets unexpectedly closed. That's a bummer when it's winter and you have no where to swim with the kiddos. But I would totally recommend Villa to one and all, it's great.

A gym should not cost you more than 50 bucks a month and that's a really high-end nice gym. If you disagree with the statements because you're probably ripping people off. Most people can't afford 50 bucks, let alone 150. 400 sine - up fee if you don't do it at the right time. Summer is not the right time! And if you only sign up for yourself it's less than 150. Still overpriced!
Such a great place to take the kids. The indoor family swim area is like being at a resort. The indoor/outdoor hot tub is a great way to unwind at the end.

Love the fitness classes and front desk staff. Their "no male babies in the girls changing room", and "no nursing in the women's locker room" policies are outrageous and illegal. Regardless, we've been members for 4 years and still go almost every day, so the good outweighs the negative. My youngest got sick a LOT from the baby room so we hardly ever use VillaKids anymore. The Villa kids staff is phenomenal, though.
We love this for our family to swim in the summer and their kid watch while we workout. Our kids love it. My only beef is all of the people that hog machines or benches to do Facebook or because they think their circuit of free weights is more important than others while they hog up five stations and walk around.
My wife and kids have a membership here and we love it. The facility is well built and well kept. The staff is very kind and considerate. The childcare staff is the best I've ever worked with. They take such good care of our kids. The indoor pool for the kids in the winter is a life saver. Overall, we love this place. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because we've been members for 4 years now and they've raised the membership price twice in 4 years. If they keep raising the price at the rate of every other year we won't be able to afford a membership.
Always clean, always beautiful. I have been a member here for 5 yrs now. Absolutely LOVE the pool!! I LOVE the locker rooms! These guys thought of everything when they built this gym. It is outstanding. I have been a member of other gyms in years past, but this one is definitely my favorite!
Great facilities and staff is helpful and friendly. Good for a workout or going for yoga or a swim. I loved the membership. It's pricy by comparison to other gyms, but you get what you pay for.
My happy place! Love the facility and the classes they offer. It's spacious and the equipment is well maintained. The adult only pool in the summer is great and in the winter sauna and steam room combat the winter blues if you suffer from that. The other athletes working out are courteous and mind their own business if you want to be left alone.
I really like this club. The staff is always very nice and make you feel welcome. The facilities are clean and well maintained. If you go at the right time you can avoid the crowds but I usually have no problems getting the exercise equipment I want. Overall a great club and I would recommend it to others.
Prices are 100% worth it. Friendly staff, clean gym and locker rooms. Splash pad was always great. Food is good. Environment villa offers is unlike other gyms. Summers by the pool are fun. Les Mills classes and teachers are phenomenal. The spa is beautiful. I didn't care for my manicure, everything else is 100% worth it. We moved and I will miss this place so much.
The gym and the people that work there are all great. The facility is well taken care of and very well run. They lose a star because their corporate level people are terrible to work for and don't return calls or emails.
