Visiting from Chicago for an extended weekend and was looking for gyms in the area to try/use during our stay! Spoke with the staff and they offered a free 3-day guest pass! Awesome service and very thoughtful.

This gym is incredibly clean and always has an upbeat staff! They also have an incredible free weights section that goes up to 150 lbs.! I would highly recommend this gym to those that live close to the area.

A very nice Golds. Better than the one I have at home. Some newer and cool equipment, yet lots of free weights. Staff gets 5 stars. Working out here all week and it has never been crowded.

As other members have indicated. There is often a mix up with billing. I got charged 2 months for an account that is not mine. The employees at the front desk can't help. It is a mess.

YOU TAKE CONTROL. Only pay them, with a Walmart card, that way you can cut them off when you please. Don't trust them to stop taking money when notified. On the contrary they are TRAINED NOT TO honor your wishes and continue draining your account as long as possible. If it were an accident it wouldn't happen to EVERYONE.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Clean most days. They need to restock toilet paper and paper towels before closing in the evenings or at opening in the mornings. I was in the middle of my work out in the cardio/cinema and one of the staff members decided to turn on ALL the lights and start vacuuming, did not consider any of the guests in there, it's always the same gentleman, he just cleans around you. The staff is very dull, not a motivated person in that place, front desk just sits on THEIR cell phone all. Needs better management, organization and training their staff on customer service!

My husband and I have had a membership at this club for 3.5 years. Due to an apparent revolving door, in this short time we've experienced 3 different general managers, 3 different group fitness managers, housekeeping mostly ebb with occasional flow, front desk employees who are able to say hello and scan fobs and if there happens to be a mix up with billing (and it's on their end) it's a nightmare because no one in the building can do anything to help you. That becomes a corporate issue and they have limited availability.
The ONLY reason we stay is that we like the location and we are able to make the most of our workouts for ourselves. Group fitness instructors we've had are personable, helpful, well-trained and for the most part well-prepared to teach classes. Some of the classes we've come to enjoy have been eliminated due to lack of participation. If the front desk folks were better informed about types of classes (or if the web site was accurate and up-to-date with info), the schedule, etc there may be more people in the GGX rooms come class time. The web site can't even stay up-to-date with current GM info.
The big push here is for the add-on, extra-fee experiences with Gold's Fit and personal training. Lots of attention is given to the members who spring for these.
If you're self-motivated, want a local gym and don't require a clean bathroom this is your spot.

If i could give zero stars i would. I joined with hopes of finding some help to change my life. They filled my head with lies that i woukd recive support ...the only thing they did was make me feel terrible about myself so they could charge me more. I ended up having a medical problem and they continued to charge me $99 ...if payment does not stop, it will not be good for them! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! go to 24 hour fitness instead!!

Been coming here for 2 and a half years just recently had them input a new debit card for auto pay, girl who took it put it in wrong and the gym charged me a $20 "decline fee". No problem, simple mistake easy to refund right? Nah they refused, told me only the district manager could refund it. They never called me had to ask about it a week later. He said no. Said I had to have proof I had money in my accounts at the time so I had to procure a bank statement. Still haven't gotten my statement. Employees where less than helpful as well. And while I'm at it if something breaks it takes them almost a whole quarter to fix it, and the bathrooms are almost always disgusting.

Good people, never too busy and always been left alone witch is a big deal for me to enjoy my work out without being bugged.

Well... it's a gym. It has a pool and the equipment is decent, when it's not out of order. Usually not crowded, which is nice. So 1 star doesn't seem fair. But honestly, there are so many other gyms in the city, I'd pick a different one. I worked out here for a year before I just couldn't handle it any more.
The management here is just sub par. Things (machines, pool, sauna, hot tub, showers) are constantly "out of order" for a week or more. I can't count how many times I had to hunt to find a shower that had soap in it or they were out of paper towels.
Cleanliness... I've never gotten sick as much as I did in the last year. I love swimming, but I got to the point where I felt like I got sick whenever I used the pool.
The 30 day cancellation policy is a joke (which is Golds Gym in general). Real dates: I notified them I wanted to cancel on December 19th. The way their math works, my membership will finally end March 15th. Apparently it's 30 days plus a month on either side... with no flexibility. Ok guys, really?

I love how clean this gym is! Their staff is always friendly, only wish they had a more flexible schedule for classes and weekends!

I go here about every other day. I think it's pretty clean and the people are generally friendly. Sometimes you run across rude people in the pool, but they can just get the hell over it haha. Also, the policies are a bit convoluted and not very friendly to the client. Be very aware of what you are signing when you sign up. They have deals all the time, so don't let them sucker you into thinking a better sign on deal won't come along because it almost always gets cheaper in the off season.

I cancelled well over a month ago, had to submit to two more Billings because they simply can't just let you cancel right then and there.... Today I get a message that my account is past due... HELLO?!?!?? I CANCELLED. Now I'm on hold with someone who clearly hasn't a clue what to do... If there were negative stars you'd get five of those.

Great gym. lots of equipment. Dumbbells up to 150lbs. Locker room smells like a locker room. Dues are reasonable. Great place to workout

the management and staff here are terrible!! they hide behind their contracts whenever an issue of customer service comes up and refuse to do anything that they are not contractually obligated to do. read the fine print carefully and review all other options before settling for this miserable gym

The men's locker room is nasty.....dirty walls and lockers...floors are gross they need help....New management and better cleaners...better TRAINING....friendly staff though love John and the tall Asian cute 22 year old...haha!

Very nice and clean facility. The staff is friendly and the amount of space inside this gym never makes it feel crowded. One thing I don't like much is machines they have, can't remember the name but I prefer hammer strength machines.

Me and my wife are thinking about joining this gym. We went to the gold's gym up north and loved it. It was (clean,) and had a great staff . Hopefully this gold's will be perfect for what we are looking for it's close to where we live. And has all the amenities. What's the best time to go where they are not so busy.
