It's a 3 star gym with 5 star potential. Here's why:
- There are not enough 2.5 lb and 5 lb weights.
Every bench, squat and power rack should have designated 2.5 and 5 lb weights. This would eliminate having to walk around for 5 minutes finding misplaced weights.
-Enforce cleaning rules.
I have been a member here for 2 years and I have yet to see people clean after their used equipment. This is extremely unsanitary and against the most common gym rules. There's literally an pandemic going on in the world and people still do not clean up after themselves. Had to tell a man that he needs to clean after himself after he coughed and sneezed all session and did not clean any of his gear. Come on man.
-Create a mandatory gym guide.
People do not put their weights away in designated areas, leave weights out and in the ground or on bars, remove weights from people racks while they are working.
There are a lot of people who come to this place with no manners. They have no idea how to maneuver the gym.
-The Music
Come on. Why are we listening to reggaeton music? Switch it up a bit and play some old school rock, alternative, electronic perhaps? I love trap music but this place plays the worst trap ever. Look at your demographics and figure out what you can do.
I'd just like to say: Crystal cares for my kids while I get my workout in and she is amazing. I love the gym altogether. It's truly a place to feel confortable and safe at. It's always a hard thing when you love a gym but the child center is poor and all the kids are just huddled around watching a weird cartoon... EVERY time...This gym is my go to because The child center is outstanding. I wish I had left a review a long time ago, but Crystal stood out and i wanted to acknowledge her amazing job well done. .. I've attended so many gyms.. she is by far the hidden treasure of all child centers I've seen. I've seen another person at 24 Highlands Ranch as well but never got his name.
Crystal takes care of the kids, & has a good time doing it. Interacts with them and greets then all by name. She plays with them and pays attention to all of them. Thank Crystal for all you do and I hope 24 hr. Gives you a bonus .. You deserve it
Front desk staff was very unfriendly and left us standing there for a good minute before even acknowledging us. Not the best first impression for it being our first time and experience with this gym and company in general. Maybe you should make sure your staff know what it is to bring customers in and not just stand there with a terrible spray tan. Just saying.
Lower class gym. Although there are some good instructors and a couple good classes (the reason for the two stars), all the 24 Hour Fitness gyms in this general area leave something to be desired - especially the cleanliness. Kids club at the Southglenn location frequently books up and they turn parents away (instead of considering appropriate staffing levels). One gym just discontinued towel service all together. Images attached are just a sampling of what I experienced in the course of 6 months. Gross. Other gyms, by comparison, are cleaner, nicer, and far more professional.
This is the worst gym I have ever been to. If you want to constantly see signs like the one in the picture below...then this is the gym for you. I've never been to a gym that does such a poor job maintaining their equipment. I told them about a shower in the locker room that was leaking very badly (I'd guess it's a $100-$200/week waste of water) more than two months ago. Has it been fixed??? NOPE! I bet we see another increase in rates to pay for it too. The only reason I have kept my membership at this stupid gym is because my wife like's the kids area. I've been begging her to leave and go somewhere else. I hate going here so much that we talk about it at least three times per week. My suggestion for you is to find a Planet Fitness...you'll pay 80% lower price and get equipment that is maintained!
Good and bad, lots of machines and good facilities but could definitely be cleaner. Men's locker room floor has stuff stuck to it, yuck.
Update: A full year later and I am still looking at the same blob of gum stuck on the men's locker room floor. Really, make an effort or hire a cleaning company.

It's just what you'd expect from a big-box gym. A little crowded, but nice facility and staff. Try the complimentary 3-day trial and see if it's for you.

Regularly visit two Colo Springs locations and this facility is much better maintained and organized.
I really like this workout facility. I like the variety of weights and I really, really like the view from the 2nd floor. The employees are great. They will help you without any hesitation. Very nice place.

Ok I may be biased since I already have a membership to 24 hour fitness. For the most part, they are .. mostly clean, but still smell of mid- aughts sweat and rubber coated plate weights. Generally speaking, some 24-hour fitness clubs here have the towel service, a few have the smoothie bar, some have multi squat racks, some have steam and dry saunas, some have programmable locks on the lockers.
I've learned to ignore the deficiencies and focus on the pump. Friendly staff at all, including trainers. All have plenty of complimentary parking, all have lap pools, all have free weights, all have a variety of cardio machines. Just pick the closest one and commit to go!
Love this place it has everything I need in a gym! The hot tub and steam room really draw me in! Can't wait to get back in and get a good pump

Man this place is massive! Everything you need for a great workout. Highly recommended especially as it's open 24/7

I will start out by saying, I used to be a member of this gym years ago. 7 years ago. It was very nice back then. Always clean. There was lotion and mouthwash in the bathrooms. Everything was in good shape. Now, 7 years later, after taking a small glimpse of it again, it's dirty and not well maintained. Took a class and realized there were NO mats whatsoever. What happened to all the mats?? I'm not 100% sure about the equipment but even 7 years ago I do remember the headphone jacks did not work on the cardio machines. I'm sure that hasn't changed. But most importantly, to me, the childcare is not that great here at all. I have a 6 month old now and finding good childcare (even for just 1 hour) is important to me. I realized that the kids club is outdated. I have no idea if the Wii works. Last time I was there it had been broken and not replaced at all for a LONG time. But that doesn't matter to me at all because I have a 6 month old who can't even crawl yet. I dropped her off before a class in her carseat (I was using a free guest pass for myself). After a little over an hour, my baby was STILL in her carseat, strapped. I had asked the attendant "has she been in there this whole time?" and as if a normal thing replied "yep! she was really good the entire hour." This gym does not have baby bouncy seats or exersaucers or even swings. When I went to pick up my baby, the attendant was on the far side of the room holding another baby who I saw crawling when I first arrived and playing with the older kids in the play gym, my baby in her carseat on the opposite side of the room, completely alone. Ignored. I don't know how long she was left alone for. But I do know she was left in her car seat the entire time. And in a moms eyes, that is NOT Ok! At least not in this mamas eyes. I was worried the entire time I was in a class. That shouldn't be happening. I recently visited another gym that was more geared towards babies (in the same area actually, and a brand new one) that was a lot better. I think if this gym updated their kids club and had better childcare, it would do better. Childcare right now is important to me though. Maybe I will consider going back one day when my baby girl is older. Maybe.
This gym and its club manager has demonstrated a gross and toxic stance towards women getting harassed by male staff. Their reaction to a female member being harassed by a personal trainer was to ban the female member from there location instead of addressing the harassment. Disgusting!
This gym sucks.. Staff is terrible, it's dirty, and everything is always broke and takes weeks to fix. The GM is a girl and she definitely doesn't know what she's doing... Time for Vassa gym.. Or anything else
Big. Tons of equipment. Lots of classes. Dozens of cardio equipment on the mezzanine level. Has it all. But the staff could do a better job refilling paper towels, disinfectant, and regular towels. Equipment breaks a lot. On the upside: lots of hot MILFs to look at. Look, but don't touch.
Good gym. Towel service. Equipment use to be always broken...has vastly improved and equipment is well kept.
I love 24 hour fitness! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Very clean gym and locker rooms!
Good facilities. The place is neat but dirty. Never seem to clean the oils etc from the floors or showers. Be sure you have shower clogs.
I had hired Taylor Pesicka as my personal trainer to help me get into wedding dress shape and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She knows so much about form and musculature and how to modify exercises when needed. I was seeing results almost immediately and she has been amazing at following up and giving me exercises to do on my own for the days in between our sessions. If you need anything training related, whether it's getting started from scratch on a fitness journey or bumping yourself up to a new level, go ask for Taylor!
The facility itself is pretty nice. I go to a smaller 24 Hr that's closer to my house when I don't have a session and there's a definite difference. Just having gym towels available is so nice.
Out of all the local 24 Hour Fitness locations, this is my favorite. It is sized right, not small and not huge, has a racquetball court, basketball court, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and other amenities. It does get pretty busy; but, it's calm most evenings after 7PM. The staff is also usually friendly and the equipment is maintained. Most people are nice and polite, and actually mind their own business; which I like.

This used to be a great gym, but the lack of cleanliness has made it go downhill. Plus, rarely do you see the staff going through the facility to keep it tidy by putting weights away. Even the trainer's walk away without putting their clients equipment back in place.
I just got back into working out with 24 hour fitness because I love everything about their gym! Very nice equipment! Very knowledgeable trainers! Very friendly staff! Very clean gym to go to! Nice pool, cuzzi, sauna and steam room! They offer a lot of different classes too!
