First time I heard about FITtec was through an ad in Boulder Lifestyle, and I immediately assumed I couldn't afford it. But I figured I'd sign up for the free trial session anyway, and I'm so glad I did.
On the first visit, I was moved by the time and effort Tony put into getting to know me and my goals. The body scan beta was incredible, and I was shocked at how affordable the program actually is if you join the semi-private workouts (I think it comes out to ~$8/sesh if you go twice/week?-- that's cheaper than my climbing gym!). It's been fun getting to know other clients, and the workouts often feel harder in a group.
I came into this with a decent amount of fitness experience-- road and mt. bike races, triathlons, half marathon, Pure Barre, a total obsession with climbing. But I've never, ever felt this strong.
I'm a month in now, 7-8 sessions under my belt I think? Stuff that feels ridiculously easy that was always hard before: Running uphill, down-climbing on auto-belays (I don't get pumped out the way I used to), carrying my 50lb 7yo up stairs. After the last few years of injuries, I'm finally feeling the strength and resilience I was hoping I'd feel in my 40s.
Tony, Bridgett, and Josh are WONDERFUL trainers. Kind, good humored, encouraging, and tough. Bronwen is fantastic in her communication-- I love being able to text the studio if/when a schedule change comes up.
Honestly, for the price, staff quality, and results, I'm shocked this studio isn't as overrun as Boulder feels these days. Selfishly, I'm okay with that. But I'm still recommending this to everyone I know.
