This LA fitness is very clean, new machines are great, racquetball courts, basketball courts, hot sauna, all access great gym! Staff is friendly and courteous. Highly recommended this LA fitness location to get a good workout!

Nice gym! People come here to actually work out! I come to do my workouts here then leave. The last few times I have been here early in the day or later at night, the gyms are pretty dirty . Esp., the bathroom in the ladies room.
I know it gets used by a lot of people, but sanitary is really important too.
I been to a lot of la fitness and this one is by far the cleanest la fitness gym. My second favorite la fitness gym is in long beach on bellflower and stern. The staff is friendly here and the equipment is well taken care of. I highly recommend this place.
Leg day I love this fillings
As a resident of Yorba Linda in Vista Del Verde, this location for LA Fitness was the closest to my house, making it ideal for my workouts. I had worked out here for the past few years, coming and going during summer/winter due to my attending law school in the east coast. However, winter of 2018/2019, when I went, per usual, to renew my membership, an individual named Marcelo "greeted" me and offered to help me out. His demeanor was already off from the start since he seemed sly and shady, but I was not going to judge a book by its cover and went ahead with inquiring about membership options. Turns out, he was trying to scam me and while I was visiting for only a month, Marcelo tried to make me pay $100+ for one month, whereas for the summer of 2018, I had paid less than $100 for 3 months of membership. I ended up going to Anaheim Hills LA Fitness, and unsurprisingly, they offered me the same membership for $50 flat, no questions asked. I took that deal and moved on. This past May, being back from school again for the summer, I visited the LA Fitness at Yorba Linda to see if the staff had changed, but to my splendid surprise, Marcelo was there again, except this time, he sneered at me and said something along the lines of, "You again?" Let me start off by saying that his display of customer service, or lack thereof, is pitiful and deserving of reprimanding. The fact that LA Fitness still employs him is sad, and it reflects on their values as a company that simply does not care who they hire and clearly does not put their customers first. I ended up leaving and went to Fitness 19 down the road, and I have no regrets. Fitness 19 offers everything plus more for $35/month (their premium plan while their basic plan is $10/month), and the representatives as well as workers at Fitness 19 are cordial, amicable, and friendly at all times. If you are considering a gym membership here at LA Fitness Yorba Linda, don't. Go to Fitness 19 instead.
Great gym, newly renovated. Weights are all new and usually kept in order this is rare. The yoga classes are awesome with amazing teachers CC's class is my favorite. Only complaint is bathrooms are gross smells bad and not cleaned very well. Tile grout is horribly stained and wish they would have updated the locker we room floors. Went in on a Saturday first thing in the morning trash cans were full and both bathroom stalls had tp on the floor. This type of thing should have been handled the night before. It's my home gym the one I use the most staff is friendly and a great place to workout.

The renovation removed z-bars and set a large area in the center of the room for personal training only. The renovations are not bad, but as a long time member I feel that I am at a loss.

Update: They just spent 1 million dollars on a renovation and all new machines!!!!! Love it!!!!!! Brand new gym for the price of the old one.
OLD Review: Before I recently moved to California, I was a member at Planet Fitness. I switched to LA Fitness because there's one on the way home from work - if I don't go right after work, I won't go! I'd rather still be a member at PF because they have all sorts of services for $20/mo (open 24/7, new machines, tanning, hydro-therapy bed, massage chairs, etc.).
This LA Fitness has pretty old equipment and the lockers in the women's locker room need to be replaced pretty badly - which is weird, because my boyfriend and I paid an arm and a leg when we signed our contracts (initiation fees, first and last month's membership, etc. etc. - for the two of us it was hundreds of dollars). I was very excited about having access to a pool, too, but there are ALWAYS kids having swimming lessons. Apparently you can't swim laps during lessons - which is always, literally. Every single time I try to swim there are kids having lessons or a water aerobics class (after work, early morning, weekends...any possible time someone with a job could go).
In spite of being due for some serious upgrades, though, convenience factor always wins with me. I've never had to wait for a machine (treadmills or weight lifting). The staff is also very nice - I go every day and I've never had a bad experience.

This place just try to rip me off. One of the dude on the counter doesnt tell you the helpful health info until you actually pay for the coaching fee. Regret getting membership, they will constantly charge you monthly payment until you show up again and cancel the membership. Bunch of scammers smh

The machines are incredibly old and regularly "scheduled for service." Even the lockers in the locker room are falling off their hinges. I originally signed on because they have a pool BUT you can't do laps when swim lessons are in session - WHICH IS ALWAYS. I've tried to go before work, after work, even during lunch - during the week...on the weekends. I have NEVER been able to find a time when there aren't swim lessons in session.
I continue to go to this gym because 1) the staff is great, 2) my boyfriend loves the steam room/hot tub, and 3) it's directly on my way home from work.

Worst gym ever. They will just try to rip you off whatever the way they can. They charged me 185 dollars for 1 month. $149 initiation fee which they promised they will return at the time of cancellation but they didn't. i told them already i just need gym membership for a month but when i cancelled they didn't returned. They have old equipment and not even fully functional. Worst experience ever. I will never join "LA Fitness" chain gym ever in my life.

They closed a racquetball court. Used to be a good club until then. Lots of broken lockers. Usually papers in the showers - disgusting.
Went for a guest pass, seemed nice enough but they called and left voicemails one a day for a month straight.
Steam room. Only one in the county. Love this place. Never full. The most righteous ratio of gym rats and average Joe's. Machines and weights available whatever you need. Keep that steam room functioning and keep the cleaning staff happy. Home away from home.
It's a nice place with a great staff. I want to give Mauricio a special mention because he made this gym stand out from the other locations I've been to.
After signing up he offered the usual free session. I told him that I was not interested. But he was not about adding a client or making money. He was genuinely interested in helping me reach my fitness goals.
During our "free session", he offered a wealth of new information, exercises, and workouts to help me even though he didn't have to. Our session did not benefit him at all yet he was enthusiastic, engaging, and extremely helpful.
I highly recommend Mauricio for anyone looking for a personal trainer. This man will change your life.
Some of staff are friendly, some very bad. They are doing cheating things , behaviors look like the thieves , they are stealing money from your account without telling you. So caution: don't sign personal training contract with this gym (La fitness located at Yorba Linda). Otherwise your bank account will not be safe. For example, they cancelled my 37sessions which I have paid already, even I don't known at all, and they keep charging my money from my account.....robber!
Mauricio is a bad inside ,nice outside dwarf. be care of him, don't do a contract with him, the staff there try to bait you signing a contract and then charge you no reason , if you wanna cancell the contract, Mauricio gonna try to cheat you , scare you to stop! He is a sales man there, but his act is a douche bag , it seems he is the owner there.
Old equipments , dirty everywhere! The front desk clerk disrespects members, acts like she runs this gym. Now they have charge me more than $2,000, I just finished 14 sessions, and Mauricio says I only have five sessions left, if I stop my contract , they gonna charge more! It is a scam ! If they agree to stop the contract , they still non stop charging money from your a bank account. Very very be careful, the only safe way to protect your bank account is to cancell your account from your bank, otherwise, once they start charging you, will be hard to get refund.
