Chris Arcucci has a comprehensive and holistic approach to bodywork and healing. She is not only a fantastic massage therapist, but is an incredible yoga therapist as well. Chris offered long-term solutions not just short-term benefits, by offering me personalized suggestions for exercises and postural alignments that helped strengthen my body and facilitated healing. If you want to create a positive change that will have a long-term impact, you'll find Mindful Living Arts is just the support you need!
"I started doing Body Work and Yoga class with Chris shortly after she opened the Mindful Living Arts in 2009. I think she is absolutely fabulous! She teaches Anusara yoga though in a way to support the unique needs of each student. The body work I have done with her has returned the full range movement of my neck (something that I have not had for over 20 years previously.) By the way, her massages are great, too. I never leave the studio without feeling both mentally and physically better than when I walked in."
Chris is a professional who cares about her clients and listens to their needs. She helped me with my neck problem and made me feel relaxed and pampered. I know that when I go to Chris I can explain what I am feeling and she knows right away how to help. Her studio is intimate and soothing. It is also located in a good area of Walnut Creek with plenty of free parking. I highly recommend Chris for a relaxing get away.
If coming for a massage (as I did) you can count on Chris to make you feel grateful you did. I left feeling loose, refreshed, all around great, and even educated with tools to help keep you feeling yogi-licious when you're not so lucky to be in there getting expertly massaged. She knows her stuff, and she is kind and thorough. I can't think of anything more you need than that when lying in a peaceful spot, on a comfy soft table, with warm blankets atop you, and being rubbed down with pleasant sounds drifting over you.
I've spent many years searching for the best body workers, healers, and massage therapists, and have had amazing experiences with excellent people from Massachusetts to Los Angeles to the Bay Area. Chris at Mindful Living Arts is one of the best I've ever experienced. She is both highly skilled at all aspects of body work, including therapeutic alignment work combined with massage, and also just great at finding the deeper meaning that keeps us from healing, and connecting to insight that can enable transformation. If you just want a really great massage, then I recommend you check Chris out. If you want to transform your life, then equally I recommend Chris. She is the best.
