helping every one with smile and positive energy.These two persons are the only great things I see here.
Why I gave here two stars:
1-Too busy, it takes usually at least 15 minute to find a parking space in the parking lot, it is also too busy inside, you should be aggressive to get access to the tools you want, specially between 5:30pm to 9pm.
2-The machines are old, there are a few treadmills that malfunctions and they are really dangerous. Also most of the machines are outdated, they do not work smoothly, there are only a 1 good new machine for each part of the body, so again you have to wait a long time to get access to it.

Plenty of equipment with plenty of space and a visually clean swimming and whirlpool area.
Oh yeah they have a real food menu like eggs and meat and beverages.
I've complained 3 times to front desk. A friend saw the manager throw messages in the trash without even addressing them. The showers and pool have MOLD. The pool all along the lip ;and the showers are disgusting. Floors are filthy in the dressing room. Mold, torn shower curtains and shower heads that either steam water out in a straight flow or sprinkle. They can certainly address these issues since they are opening new clubs. Front desk girls could care less and the manager, David, never seems to be available. Several people are keeping tabs. If the issues are not addressed, next step is contacting the Health Board.
Litterly the best place for workout I just signed up and the whole customer service is amazing, very friendly and well managed.
Incredible! Just about all classes cancelled not only for Labor DAY but the whole weekend. Not fair to the members. Corporate should find replacements, however I called the Sepulveda location and I was told that was corporate's decision. Even worse!

I have been coming to LA Fitness in Van Nuts for just over a year now. Everyone I walk on the door, the greeters are incredibly nice and sweet!
The place is always clean. You can count on all the equipment pretty much always being wiped down.
The equipment is all mostly new too as they just did a renovation!

NO CURTAINS IN SHOWERS. Crowded, Parking crowded. NO CURTAINS. They closed for about 2 weeks. Did a good job redoing the main room of the gym. Many new machines. But still no curtains in the shower. If the gym was no so close to my house l would never go to it.

They just completed an almost 2 week renovation....I must say I'm impressed...hopefully they other patrons will start to care more for the equipment...I guess only time will tell!
Brand new facility. Not as big as my local LA fitness but still a nice location.
Horrible Customer Service, I came as a guest as a friend to get to know the place to see if I wanted to switch from my other gym crunch. Jocelyn Gutierrez attended us and told us we only had a 5 day pass that was activated earlier and I could not enter even though the pass I was given was a 14 day pass. The man who invited us told her that he activated a 14 day pass and asked if she could do anything, we of course were a little bothered and as soon as she felt that she turned defensive and started telling us "I'm not wrong". After asking for the manager several times she finally claimed to go get him and just stood up and did nothing. The manager was giving a tour apparently but I also think she could've let him know or at least let us know instead of just leave us seated while she did nothing.
This location is one of the largest in the valley, as well as the newer locations. My only dislikes are the same varieties of equipment and their issue with providing proper running water. They horde the paper towels so I don't feel leaving the restroom or anything is safe. You can't properly wash your hands.

Reasonably priced, clean, great equipment and great trainers. I regularly train with Greg and Justis - both are amazing.
Gotta get in early. Nice spacing and high ceilings. Plenty of parking and newer equipment.

It makes it difficult to have scheduled in and out workouts that focus on muscle groups. Racket ball, basketball, and indoor pool. Always people playing basketball, which is great if you're looking for pickup. You may have to wait a bit though.

The staff here are awfully disrespectful, rude, and threatening. I will say, though, that the gym is very nice. The place is huge and has plenty of exercise equipment. However, I came in for an interview for a personal trainer position that was set up with a recruiter named David Hordo who failed to mention that I needed to bring my resume and personal trainer certificate to the interview, despite the fact they had both on file from when I applied for the position online. I spoke with my current employer, who I also do personal training for, and she recommended I wear a tank top and training like attire to show that I am an in-shape and healthy individual. I have never had a problem doing this for personal training interviews as I assume the hiring managers appreciate seeing someone who is muscular and well-framed. When I came into this location, however, I was told that the interviewer, Jack, would not be available for another fifteen minutes. That turned into twenty. Then I was told that my workout attire was not appropriate for the interview despite the fact that a person who came in for an interview after me was wearing regular clothes and sat down for an interview immediately. Then I was told to go home and come back tomorrow with interview appropriate clothes. Now, granted, if this was an office job, I would have worn a dress shirt, tie, etc. Since this is a personal training job, and my previous bosses have expected me to dress for the part, I was pretty upset that I was being turned down for an interview when I had driven 10 miles to just come out to the gym. The manager of the place who I had been talking to asked me if I was upset even though he was the one who was visibly upset. As I left, he came outside with another employee who worked there looking around as if they were looking to confront me. Out of all the job interviews I've had, this is probably the worst I've ever been too and I would strongly discourage anyone from supporting this place until they clean up staff. I even saw a girl at the front desk ignore a gym member who was complaining about the cleanliness of the gym. This place is a definite 1 out of 5.
Yo this review was for coldwater and victory la fitness. Sorry Sepulveda Not all Workers are ass holes there but the Manager who i hope they replace is . I have to re-edit this there is a new kid. He is a tall blonde dude movie star looks and he is the only person I have ever seen work hard. He actually picked up people's thrown down paper towels on the floor of the gym WITH HIS HANDS. This kid works hard if I had him in my business he'd make me a millionaire. His work ethic is awesome, I haven't scene in it today's employees ever he is one of the few. I hope he goes on to bigger and better things he is a hard worker, kudos to him.
Not enjoying this so far. I've expected better, but nope. I enjoy the one at woodland hills better. I paid for the same membership over there but as i started a new membership here, I've been charged about 40-80 dollars more of the same thing I've ordered months ago.. Not liking this place at all.
Good gym. Well maintained. They recently expanded their hours to start at 4 am on weekdays and 7 am on weekends which works better for me.
This place is your standard gym with some key extras. They have individual lockers you can use to lock up ypur keys or other items for the day, pool and spa, classes, and also a sauna. The hours are sufficient except on weekends. Weekdays it gets very packed to the point where I can't get a parking spot sometimes. Best times to go are before 8am and between 1pm and 4pm weekdays. Weekends are usually not too busy. The only negative I would say is not a lot of free space to stretch or do body weight exercises if class room is being used. Other than that this place is a nice clean standard place to work out. Parking is free. Staff is friendly.
Pros: Good, clean gym with plenty of weights.
Nice staff, fellow members are great and most seem to be locals.
Cons: Parking sitch is a nightmare; cardio equipment takes up half the gym.
Bottom Line: For the price, it's hard to beat.

Out of four Valley located LA fitness centers this one is by far the cleanest, and more or less not as packed as others (depending on a day). Yet, parking is scarce, and some of the equipment is really too modern for my tastes and not as intuitive.

This LA Fitness is pretty crowded most of the time. They place is packed with machines, but there are often waiting times for the common weight machines and benches no matter what time of day you come.
The parking lot does not have enough spaces for the clients that come and cars are often broken into in the lot as they have decided they security is only warranted from 3pm on. Odd, considering the police department said they get numerous calls and the majority are during the day.
The place is moderately clean, but the clients do not k ow how to put weights away where they belong. It is definitly a mid to low class neighborhood, and the clientele at this gym reflects that in their inettention to basic manners about equipment. The employees are nice but shrug everything off; they act nice and may feel bad but they do not really care.
All that said, I get some decent workouts here. I will, however, be looking for a better gym.
It's great that this location is all on 1 floor. There is usually enough machines for everyone in the morning. But the showers are always out of order or missing shower curtains. Parking is great.
This isn't Equinox. Yes, it is often crowded. Yes, machines remain unfixed for too long. No, it's not perfect. But, for $30/month, it's a pretty good deal. I've been going to this gym for about 4 years. It has plenty of machines, racquet ball courts, a pool, room for you to do your own thing, and decent lockers. Not perfect, but great for the price.
I'm on the fence about LA Fitness, and gyms in general. They all want to sell you personal training, and I feel like I just don't make enough money for this service.
The gym is clean and the machines mostly work, the elliptical machines sometimes don't show full resistance.
Everyone is very nice
Been a member of this gym for a while now. The parking is a huge issue. Almost always crowded. The gym equipments are out of order most of the time and by great numbers. It feels like they are only busy with getting more clients and don't care for the quality of service for existing ones.
For a first timer joining the gym LA Fitness has been a great experience for me. STAFF has been super friendly and very helpful when it comes to using equipment or any questions that i may have. VIC assisted me with my enrollment with getting a personal trainer, he is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful making sure i had a custom plan ready for the next couple of months. Vic made sure i stayed motivated and that anything is possible to achieve, if i work hard. My trainer MANNY, knows his stuff. He is awesome and exactly what i needed to kick my butt in gear. has enough patience when it comes to me saying i can't no more, he motivates me to push through and not give up. I would strong recommend him as a trainer to anyone. i would definitely recommend LA Fitness. P.S. When i say i hate you guys, it truly means thanks for kicking my butt. - Irma
Good gym to get motivated ! Lots of of people in great shape actively working out . There's a fishbowl-style indoor pool always heated to perfection , a sauna and a hot tub ! I'm not one to share a hot tub at the gym , but I'm all over the pool!
Just two complaints : a) staff who are either shy ,rude or grossly disinterested in working. b) bumper to bumper traffic and random road rage incidents over a lot that is lacking the space to provide enough parking for active members.
I wonder if the management of any LA fitness locations read the reviews , because all of them have less then 4.0 rating! Probably it's right about time to start improving, not just take people's money and put it in their own pocket! New machines are needed, cleaning team on site, higher pay for staff so they can actually work and much more!!! Honestly for the past 9 years that I've been a customer of LA fitness, I've got very disappointed. I'm glad my membership expires in a few months!
