Terrible lesson. Great people and staff, but the lesson was NOT a beginner style lesson. My son was partnered with 2 other children for 30 minutes one day a week. Of the 30 minutes, he received maybe 5 minutes of constructive lessons. The other children already knew how to swim and were much older than my son. So rather than pairing him with children of like skill he was paired-up with advanced children. So he received almost no attention because the other kids dominated the lesson. Also, the instructor used techniques that were too advanced. She tried to teach him the basic strokes, freestyle, breast, etc rather than just the basics to tread water. After 2 months of swim lessons he still can't come up for air. He's a fast learner, 4 years old already knows how to ride a bike, so I'm confident it's not him, it's the process for instruction. What a waste of time and effort. I don't mind the money loss as much as my time. I work full time and took off early every day to get my son to this lesson. When we went out of town for memorial day, I expected him to at least swim, unassisted, at the pool in our hotel. He was no better off than when he started. Go somewhere else of pay for the private lessons, more frequently than 1 time a week. I'm moving my son to in-shape swim lessons with hopes they will have a better program and better results!
