As a response to one of the earlier posts,
1. You can't really expect the mats to be spotless with people exercising on top of them.
2. Taking off your shoes and socks is polite, and not doing so has a chance to cause injury to the other students.
3. If you were able to keep your shoes on, the mats would get even dirtier
4. Sparring is an important part of martial arts, and allows students to test the practicality of the lessons that they've learned. The fee is for equipment made to protect the students.
1. The mats are not even clean. We have to take our shoes and socks off, too.
2. In order to take green belt, you have to do sparring, which coats $200!

Such a great after school program. All the employees/care givers are so involved and caring. I highly recommend this program as a very involved Grandmother. The Baba (my South Bay nickname)

All the staff is friendly and really truly cares about the art of Taewondo & Hapkido. They even have tutoring which I am thinking about enrolling my in classes. Great for Martial Arts.
