I love it when this gym, after they steal your money because you have to pay to cancel even if your contract is up, CALL you months later asking you to come BACK for their promotion. Let me say it loud and clear, for the people in the back to hear: THEY ARE DESPERATE! Stop stealing people's money. My goodness.
Doesn't even deserve one star. What a money sucking place. They don't care about customer satisfaction or refunds!! I got charged for a year membership they didn't even give me a courtesy call. There's no grace period for cancelations! Management sucks. Most of the machines don't work, and they don't have a lot of equipment. Secret fees here and there, run guys there are WAYYY better gyms out there.
This gym is ridiculous. I cancelled my yearly membership and they charged me without notice, denied me my money, and were just wholly unreasonable. What a waste!
DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! Total Woman is the WORST gym and will SCAM you. If you like broken machines, overfull classes, dirty equipment, false contracts, and fraudulent charges on your credit card this is the gym for you!
If you cancel your one year contact at the one year point, which I was advised I could by Gita when I signed up, they will forcibly roll you into a month to month contact without your consent even AFTER CANCELING and fraudulently charge your credit card for a yearly account maintenance fee of $69.99, $10 cancellation fee, and 45 days worth of membership charges (a full month plus a prorated amount). I've been on the phone with Ashley, the manager, for days now trying to resolve these issues and she insists that the contract states she has the right to charge me when I've reviewed it several times and she is incorrect. I'm now having to dispute the charges with my bank and it is a nightmare. It is ILLEGAL to charge someone for a gym membership in California when they have not stepped foot in the gym for the period they are being charged.
I chose to cancel my membership this year, at the end of my contact, due to broken machines, unhygienic conditions, poor equipment, and the turnover of all the best group fit teachers. I raised my concerns to management throughout the year to make them aware of the unsatisfactory conditions, but it was to no avail. Thus, after being fed up with the subpar gym, I asked about cancelation procedure and followed all the steps to cancel correctly, at the one year mark, and terminate my contract.
I am appalled at the unethical business practices Total Woman has in place. There is not a corporate number to call either so when you have issues with your account you are forced to keep calling the local gym number and talk to the same manager who has no ability to resolve anything over and over again. You've been warned. Conduct your business elsewhere - there are plenty of great gyms in this area.

The gym itself is ok. Very small but enough room to stretch and not walk into people working out. The equpment is way to close to each other. No personal space and you can smell the next person.
If you work out at night....the locker room is dirty, the shower drains will have full of hair, the mist room is full of hair... HAIR EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I dont know what the janitor lady is there for. All she does is get on her phone, mop here and there then by 9:50 she ready to go home. So us night people dont really have a clean locker room.....sigh...I was hoping for more sanitary conditions from an all female gym......
Well equipped gym, nice workout crowd. The staff is very nice.
It's sufficient enough for a workout.
It has gotten so crowded because of the deals and specials that you have to wait your turn now for equipment.
Need to put a cap on the membership.
the gm who runs this place is a corporate tool who knows nothing about customer service or labor relations ..need to replace her immediately
