Museum is well establish and there is lots of knowledge to gain. I will visit again and again!! Thank you guys
I have been going to this gym for the past two years and have had a great experience. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Good equipment, very well maintained. Good atmosphere.
Great gym. Been going here for 6 years. Staff is always helpful. 90 percent of the equipment is new. The lockers were changed out in the summer. Very clean. Highly recommend.
Probably the best older 24 hr Fitness I've been to, I've been at clubs from here to Ontario. Lots 'n lots of machines. Clean & tidy. Attentive staff.
When you read a one star review, look to see which club is recommended as alternative. 10-1 the reviewer works there!
Only reason I switched to this was because it was 24hr. They also have way more equipment than my last gym. The pros stop there.
Cons:
The gym is OLD. The place is dark and depressing.
The locker rooms are OLD, plenty of lockers. The showers are worse than those of a one star motel.
The womens and mens locker rooms are next to each other, kinda scary at night. Anyone can just walk in to the womens room. Co-ed sauna and steam room..... arg really? Who thought that was a good idea? Utter laziness in design and does not make women feel comfortable.
I WOULD PAY SO MUCH MORE IF
Female and Male locker rooms are separate across the gym
Women only, Men only sauna, jacuzzi and heat rooms
Bigger shower stalls with lockable doors
Kids Club, the club needs some work, but the staff is always nice and they are right down the street from Grabbagreen so I could just live on TO Blvd and thrive!!!
Love this place. Been going here for years !!

Very great gym has a lot of machine and a full basketball court, cycle room, and pool only thing I would want is a punching bag hanging somewhere

Very disappointed. This was my favorite gym when I lived in Thousand Oaks 10+ years ago. Decided to come on by for a 3 day guest pass as I'm home for the summer and looking for a short term membership, which is something I've done during summer break during my college years. Management refused to give me a guest pass, repeatedly stating something about my account "already being in the system," rather than giving me an explanation for this reasoning. Pretty rude, I've been to many gyms with loads of helpful and accommodating staff this kind of customer service at 24 is what loses me as a customer indefinitely. Such a bummer, had such good experiences here in the past.

Excellent center! No issues getting a good workout. The could use maybe one more core crunch machine.

It's serviceable. It's not the cleanest gym, or the dirtiest. Most of the members respect the facility which is nice. The equipment shows its age (old, rusty, and cosmetically gross) and most of the cardio is in some form of disrepair. At least 3 step mills are broken at any given time, and the same goes for treadmills. And if they work, the incline might not, or the headphone jack won't function. They don't offer wi-fi, and half of their tv's play ads for the gym rather than programming you'd care to actually see. The catch is that the gym is cheap, so you get what you pay for.
I've been working out at this gym for almost 5 years. The price is right and I like having access to all 24 Hour Fitness locations when I travel. That said, this is the a gym Rocky Balboa would have been comfortable at. It's very dirty with old, poorly maintained machines and largely indifferent staff. Response to the curling machine that has been broken for 3 months: "Management doesn't tell us anything." Response to complaints about gym patrons who violate gym rules (e.g., sitting on a machine for 20+ minutes and not allowing other patrons to work-in), "Oh, he'll get off eventually." Response to request to better inflate bosu balls, "yeah, we'll get around to it" (and they don't for days). Response to brown and green mold on water fountain spigot, "Nothing we can do about that." If it wasn't for their network around the US, I'd work out elsewhere.
Was a member here for decades. Rejoined on my last visit, and the club has greatly improved. I'm happy to be back.
Great gym!! Convenient location. Ample parking. Lots of equipment. Always busy, but usually not too crowded.
Parking in back parking lot unsafe , non working cars parked , wreacked cars, trash behind cars.homreless broken down cars, trash behimd cars , feces, urination behind clothes donaton box . Owners dont care . JUST DONT CARE
I really like that they have remodeled the 24 Hour Fitness in Camarillo. It looks very nice. It makes it a little bit more enjoyable to go to the gym when the place looks clean and nice. Now if everyone could just get off their phones and actually work out that would be great. If you're going to text please at least leave the weights available for other people who are actually trying to work out to use them.

Ok place to excersis but it needs to be upgraded.
Good assortment of machines and classes, but the cleanliness is what can be lacking at times. However, alot of that is in part to other gym members being gross AF. Great place though, I go to this location often and the team members are always friendly and helpful.
Good staff. Nice gym. If the basketball court would of let me play It would be a solid 5.
I just canceled my membership with 24 hour fitness recently. This gym doesn't offer a wide variety of classes in the morning. I attended a yoga class on a Saturday morning and the instructor came in through the side door which it so happens it's an emergency door. The alarm went off at it was extremely disruptive and loud (it's a fire alarm so imagine!). The gym staff took their sweet time to come upstairs and fix it. The yoga instructor was very apologetic and she tried covering the alarm with a thick towel. That class was just ruined and the entire relaxing vibe was gone. For whoever in the management team that will be reading this review please instruct your staff that if there is a similar situation like this, train your staff to be more aware of the consequences of delaying the process of fixing the issue. And also please do something about that awful gym smell...
Good gym. Somewhat small and often crowded. But good overall.
