24HourFitness is prohibiting cancellations, in violation of California Section 17602 of the Business and Professions Code.
Moved jobs and need to cancel? They disabled their contact webform, shut down their call center, and the CEO's letter claims you can cancel, despite that clearly not being the case. Enjoy the multiple class action lawsuits.

Great place for a workout. other activities besides weights. clean building and friendly staff. It's worth the yearly membership.

Kelcey at front desk is really a pain. She can be customer friendly while she chooses not to be. The facility is great but customer service sucks

I'm staying in this area for work for 2 months and I am very happy with this gym. Mario is amazing in the morning. The gym is always clean in the am. My first day here Mario realized I was new and introduced himself. He asked if I needed anything and then remembered my name each day after that. I work in hospitality and Mario is top notch. He remembers all the guests name and is constantly checking on people. Thank you Mario!

Great gym with really nice equipment. They have a basketball court and a swimming pool inside. Locker rooms etc. Gets really busy between 4:30PM-7:00PM. Go in the morning before 7am and you gonna have more space to yourself if you don't like waiting for equipment :)

One of my Favorite locations.
2018, 2017, 2014.
Clean, newer, good equipment, nice and responsive staff. Well maintained.
Has my favorite Rock-it line of weight machines.
Has wifi and towel service.
(which Al Super Sport are supposed to have.)
It is a true/actual SUPER SPORT location.
Sadly, many locations are now upgrading their name and process to be CALLED super sorry, while still only being the Sport facilities they were built as. Those facilities do NOT have wifi or towel service.
(An FYI so you know to call ahead and ASK, even if it says Super Sport I'm the name, it may not be as originally defined.)

Staff are always nice. But it's always hard to get a spot in a machine. And the showers are always disgusting. Half the time, there's no soap.

One of the nicest fitness facilities in the area with towel service. Tyler, fitness trainer, was super helpful and knowledgeable about anatomy, and able to tweak and troubleshoot in order for me to make the most of my time and avoid injury. This gym would be a 5 star if the floor in the locker rooms weren't a sopping wet safety hazard in the mornings. Avoid high traffic times, parking is limited then.

Did a three day pass there. Parking is difficult. Expect a pre workout just to get to the door. I went to swim. The pool already had two to three to a lane all three days all the way to 10 pm. I saw the same at Citi Sports as well. Lots of retired people in the area enjoying their lifetime rates. I couldn't get a good swim in, either the circle was too.slow or not even moving as the swimmers convert to water walking. And I am not a fast swimmer. The hot tub was always filled with old ladies lifting their cell phone above the water to not get them wet as their speak Mandarin over the speaker phone. I not sure how each lady did not disturb the other as they were not being shy about their voice. Maybe they were talking to each other. It is a shared sex hot tub. The locker room was sletchy and crowded. You will be within arms reach of another whenever you are in the locker room. The guys did seem considerate and quiet. The place is really crowded during the busy times in the evening. I mean really crowded. The 24 hour Active on Arques is less crowded for the machines. There are machines stacked everywhere, hallways, everywhere. There are also a bunch of rv dwellers using the club to get in their daily showers late at night. They park on the streets around the club. I am ok with that. There is no serenity in this club. I am still without a club, I am not donating to 24 hour chain even with the Costco deal.

Gym should have some rules... I find 90% people are just waste time on machines.... for 1 exercise they occupy machine for 15+ mins (in 15 mins I can finish 3 exercises with 4 reps each)... all they do is chit chat in group, on there cell phones... I mean have some respect for others time too... all show no sweat!!

No more of the morally ambiguous bullsh*t. Being a member of a gym is a PRIVILEGE and not a right. We PAY for our property and we PAY for our inclusion in this community: make it RIGHT. It's time for the thieves to pay for what they do. The Fitness team should be keeping a time, date, description and contact log for all incidents of theft. They lied about the unfreeze/freeze conditions
I was told few months ago that I can just come by and extend easily the freezing on my account for few more months.
But when I tried to do this today they told me that I have to reactivate my account first and then wait 24 hours to freeze it again.
That I will be charged again and I "should" be reimbursed after.
So I'm just going to cancel my membership and find another location after the summer when I want to go back to the gym.
I have been at this gym for more than 3 years

This gym is NOT SAFE. There is a thief here and based on some other reviews I see, 24 hour fitness is doing nothing to solve the problem.
I have only been a member in the gym for less than a year and I already regret going to this gym and even joining 24 hour fitness. Just a few weekends back, either a MEMBER or EMPLOYEE forced my lock open in the locker room and stole my bag. Someone stole my wallet and in it the credit cards, debit cards, insurance card, and cash as well. The thief also got my apartment keys and car keys.. They have CCTV footage of people in the hallways going in and out of the gym but no investigation is being done at all. When you lose your belongings here because there is a MEMBER or EMPLOYEE stealing in the locker room, they will not be of any help at all.
What's worse is that they influenced me when I was thinking of joining to enroll in the 1 year contract. Now I'm stuck in this UNSAFE gym and I can't have any peace of mind knowing that there's a thief in this gym! 24 hour fitness won't let me cancel my membership without paying the penalty early termination fee. I just want my membership to end as soon as possible so I can leave and not come back at any of these 24 hour fitness gyms.
The sales team will only tell you about the pros of this gym so let me share with you some cons which you will never hear them say. This gym is a lot of times too full. Expect a lot of waiting time between your workouts. Several exercise machines are not being maintained at all. Some have been shaky and not locked in place that well for a while now and there's no sign of them working on fixing them. The restrooms are filthy and smelly especially during the evening. The staff are often just huddled in the front desk like nothing needs to be done. They're really only there to entertain people buying something or getting new people to join.
If you still want to risk it and go to this unsafe gym with thieves, go ahead. I'm sharing these here to share my experience to warn others since this gym won't be much of help once they get your money.

This is a wonderful gym. I am an overweight person and I get the ideal treatment when I go to the gym: I am ignored. No one ever bothers me and I am able to exercise without any kind of distress or embarrassment. The membership also allows you access to free classes from yoga and Pilates to weight training and Zumba. For those who are more interested in sports there is an indoor basketball court and a swimming pool and a sauna and spa to unwind in post workout. The locker area is always clean and has an endless supply of hot water to use. They offer personal trainers and they are expensive, but they don't waste your money. They are kind and encouraging as they push you to do more than you think you can do but not more than you can. If you're looking for a good gym to be loyal to, this one can't be beat!

I like coming here in the early mornings before i go to work because it's less crowded and the shower and restroom area is clean. Later in the day it's crowded, its smelly, and the restrooms and showers are dirty and gross. The staff give an awkward vibe and they all huddle up behind the counter most of the evening when when the restrooms obviously need attention

I've belonged to 24 hour fitness for years. Overall, it's a decent place to workout. The staff are friendly, and it's nice to have the towel service. The classes are pretty good, but like the rest of the gym can be pretty crowded.

One of the better 24s in the Bay Area, I like the cleanliness of the facility overall and the newness of the workout mats. Wish other 24s would follow suit. One thing I really wish management would do is rip out the carpet in the front where you walk in, it's gross and would be better served as the normal rubber material that covers the rest of the workout floor given it's frequent use as a stretching, sit-up etc space by myself and others.

Often way too crowded. People don't honor work out courtesies and management doesn't enforce. Significant equipment breakdown. But generally clean, have towels ready to go and provide lockers with combination locks free of charge. The showers are nice and roomy. Trainers are really good with their clients even if completely disengaged with general membership. Front desk staff almost always welcoming & friendly & strive to say hello & good bye to all despite it appearing to be a corporate mandate. If you time it right when you can get in the workout you want, it's better than many clubs in the area.
