My kids injoying bing there .i Maybe this is a great chance for them to get the gym clean and disinfect it . Everybody uses the same gloves throughout the day . Don't get me wrong we love the gym they just need to keep up the maintenance this is a breeding sound for bacteria and viruses.
This is a very professional establishment. The owners are very friendly and treat all of their members like family. It has a very inviting feel. This place is a diamond in the rough. The coaches give every student 100%. I don't get how some of these people rating this place 1 star. Those are the people that don't even come to this establishment and check it out first. This place can help you climb that ladder to become a champion but the student has to meet them half way.
Affordable, and great place for kids to go. Especially now these days. Stockton needs a place like this for kids. It's keeping them off the streets. I just paid for my son for these next two months in advance and got 10 dollars off. Can't beat that. Talk to Jamie if you want that same deal. She's very nice.
Love this place. Love the diversity. Family orientated. Great place to train and work out.
It's a good place for kids to go to hangout after school so they can stay out of trouble. But, as far as going to a gym as a beginner and trying to have to coach build you up as a fighter, this isn't the best gym. They do have some high level young fighters, but most of the kids say they have no interest in competing. Most of kids who 'train' there, just like hangout (Which I don't see as a problem). The coach barely had time to work with me, even when I would ask help he would ignore me. Also if you're an adult, the environment is somewhat awkward at first. Mainly just bc you stand out since it's mainly youngsters there. I went there for a month and everybody who trained there was either under 18 or ever 40 (parents trying to workout with their kids). Later on it does get more comfortable working around them though. If what you're looking for is a kids club environment, this is the place for you. But if you are new to boxing and want to have one on one time with a very knowledgeable and experienced coach that actually cares about seeing you succeed, go to a different gym in Stockton. I joined a different gym and within a month, I'm already getting good sparring work with a pro fighter.
My son loves this place, he is learning so quick, its not expensive and help kids to be Confident in himself.
My son really enjoys being trained by the owner. When my son likes it, u know their doing something right.
