Lot of good equipment and close to home, but it doesn't really seem that clean. I wish my boyfriend could play basketball here like at the Northridge one. Staff is ok, not super-friendly, but there are a lot of good classes.
Really disappointing that the business name is "24 hour fitness" but isn't open for 24 hours. Should be switched to "20 hour fitness" and give me a portion of my monthly payments back because when I first signed up it was to accommodate my late work schedule. It's one of the only 24 hour fitnesses around that does this...going against all that the chain is known for. Upkeep also isn't the best, with at least something out of order with every visit and cut corners on sanitation. Also had workers trying to encourage me to get out and wrap up my workout 10 minutes before midnight. Sad that the whole reason I got a membership here is going to be the cause of me cancelling.
Awful gym that has perfect timing on taking your money out of your bank account but can't open on time or keep the facility clean. Ventilation is dismal so if you have respiratory issues forget it. Now they close at midnight until someone gets there in the morning maybe around 4 am. They used to be 24 hours in theory, but even then they seemed to always find some reason to close (like a fire broke out in San Francisco or something)
They were sued in a class action lawsuit and lost. What they promise in their contract is a lie, they will triple charge you in your renewal fees. Any gym but here.
This gym is a dump! Forgive me but I have been to many different gyms all over and even the ones in the ghetto parts of houston, and yes houston Texas. Is way better than this dump...
This place is pure trash. The facility, the equipment and especially the gym patrons. Weights are never where they're supposed to be and the antiseptic wipes are not available on the weekends. This is similar to the trash patrons this gym attracts. I never have issues finding weights when I workout at an East coast gym.
A typical 24 Hour Fitness facility that provides the typical exercise equipment for fitness improvement, and is open twenty-four hours daily.
The sauna is soothing for post-exercise and/ or non-exercise days/ nights.
Free WiFi is available for all members!
This gym needs better management. It is dirty, paper towels are rarely stocked, staff seems extremely lazy when it comes to cleanliness. Definitely not my favorite gym.

The A/C has been out (or they just aren't running it) for about 6 weeks. Crazy hot! I asked the front desk if it's being fixed and the guy told me "We have nothing to do with the A/C"
Ridiculous ...

For a 24 hour gym it gets the job done. A bit dusty wish they would vacuum up a bit more as well as the air vents. I get bad allergies here and it starts getting hard to breathe correctly because of the dust particles and my nose starts to clog up. But the staff here are great. If it gets grimmy here its cause of the people who workout here need to take better consideration on cleaning up after themselves, especially if your a female, it gets gross in the locker rooms and i find used tampons in the lockers which is disturbing and blood stains, the cleaning staff does clean its just that people that workout here like i said before need to be more mindful and considerate.

I would like to give 3.5 stars.
Generally speaking, I am always greeted with a warm smile and eye contact, which is great. The staff is helpful when I ask for it.
I love the fact that there are many areas to choose from to work out, so even when it is crowded, you still can squeeze in a quick work out, instead of waiting for others.
The equipment is old... Some of it is missing hooks or other parts.
I wish they had more classes available.
I love the fact that there is a Kids Club. It is way cheaper than having a baby sitter. I also love the sauna. I don't use the steam room, but I use the sauna after every work out.
It seems like they clean the sauna a bit too close to the busy hours though, as it may not be hot enough in there until mid to late morning.
The locker room is clean enough. It's not spotless but it's acceptable.
My main ennui is with other patrons not putting the weights back where they belong. They should stop being too cool for school and keep the environment clean and tidy.
If they would update the equipment, I think this would be a fantastic gym (but then it would also be way more crowded!).

This is pretty much the best 24 Hour in the area, except they don't provide towels. It's really clean and they seem to repair the equipment quickly, although they definitely need new cardio machines. The front desk folks are very friendly, for the most part.

Bathroom area not that clean and I don't think this review is going to help. The rest of the gym is cool . I just think 24 hour is just so complacent with there presentation.
This 24 gym is okay. Okay staff. Everything is dirty, there is a lot of wear and tear. The machines are always out of order. The jacuzzi is broken most times. The sauna was broken for months.

Needs maintenance on equipment but front desk staff are great .
Music is way too loud and it's really hot and smelly downstairs. The toilets in the woman's bathroom is very dirty, rust coming from the toilets but over all I liked it. Turn down the music!
The staff and night crew are great, very helpful and friendly. The people who workout for the most part are nice but never put their weights away. Tough to walk around trying to find where some one left one dumbbell, or having to take off three 45 pound weights off a bar because someone was to lazy or just thought it was their right to leave it for the next person. Only great thing about 24 hours is the 24 hours part!
Don't do it! Friendly and full of lies when signing up, rude and aggressive when terminating.
At least try a different location if you must.
Was going to cancel while I moved away for a few years, but I'm never signing with them again if this is how they handle teamwork and customer care.
When applying, was promised I could cancel any time, with no commitment & no termination fees. When cancelling, was informed I'd be charged $200 for early termination. Not this rep's fault in the slightest, but not mine either, because I triple checked and ONLY signed up initially for this non-commitment/no-termination-fee perk.
Up until then, it's understandable, maybe the guy that signed me up had a brain fart. It happens.
It got bad when every team member vehemently tried to pass the buck, claiming nothing could be done by them about the charges, "but I'm sure so-and-so could terminate without the fees for you, hey would you be interested in freezing? Where are you moving?".
They got more and more rude/stressed as it became apparent that I was absolutely sure of terminating my membership for now.
After being passed around for 30 min, someone finally called in Anthony, who very pleasantly and easily canceled for me--no buts, no catches. Thank you so much Anthony!! Shame on everyone else for not taking the responsibility for the team member that signed me up under wrong information!
Side note, a good number of equipment is pretty dated/broken, and half of the downstairs running machines don't work properly. I didn't mind, since I only went in at 3am anyways, but it was problematic during peak hours.

Down stairs is as hot as a sauna. The maintenance could be better. Staff is good.

If I were you, I'd go to the next 24 gym around your area. Not only is the place always a mess, but the staff don't seem to care about the guests that come in. There are never any friendly greetings, they only blast their own music using their speakers or watch movies during slow hours, and they are incredibly rude and unwelcoming when you need any kind of assistance
The weights are never where they're supposed to be, they're always out of towels and sanitizer, and the atmosphere is just terrible - it's always so dark and depressing
I don't see why anyone would work out here.
This is by far one of my least favorite locations. Although it's the closest one to me, I drive extra to go to North Hollywood location. Even though it's a super sports location, they don't have towel service, (so what makes it super sport?) The energy at this gym is really dark and negative and it's much darker inside. The staff rarely says hello when you walk in, and sometimes will even give you attitude. The times when I do go here is because they have awesome Zumba classes. It would be great if the staff starts being much more friendlier and said hello to all members.
Lots of equipment and good training support. Facility and equipment maintenance is lacking; equipment and plumbing repairs are frequently required (repeatedly) and are slow to be made.
Been coming to this gym for about 15 years. They have ample equipment but you're hard-pressed to ever find any free weights in their proper place. It's not technically the staff's fault because the members who frequent that gym are very rude and misplace or even steal the weights. Not to mention all the rude members who don't bring towels & don't even attempt to wipe down the equipment after they use it. Don't even get me started on the members that hog the equipment while texting their friends the entire time. However it doesn't help to complain about it because the staff may empathize with you & say they will send a memo to management but they never do. They used to have staff people dedicated to putting back weights in their proper places but they stopped doing that probably due to the expense. They have a downstairs area that is identical to the upstairs area so if you can't find the equipment you need upstairs you'll most likely find it downstairs. So as frustrating as it is to search for the equipment you need you do end up finding what you need.
Cons: Smelly, paper towels/cleaning solution is always out, the sound system and/or microphone for the group classes NEVER works
Pros: They have awesome body pump instructors!
THE STUFF is very irresponsible and careless. It took 2 months to cancel my membership.I left 3 massages and supervisor never responded. Every gym has equipment. We go there for a good customer service too.
