Since we're not getting any younger, we really need to maintain our flexibility, which in turn, gives us the ability to develop our strength . Hot Yoga Santee will give you many opportunities through the variety of classes that the studio provides. A big Thank You to John Paul, Lisa, and the other enthusiastic instructors! This place is awesome! Let me start off with some added details. The location is perfect. It's super close to Starbucks, if you need a little something before or for after. The space is just right for all the classes that they offer. My personal favorite is the hot yoga. Every instructor is very cautious about your movements during class, so that you move properly and do not injure your self. I love that they are supportive in your personal growth. I get the feeling that they genuinely care. I highly recommend Santee Hot Yoga.

It's my 1st week taking yoga classes at Hot Yoga Santee. I paid for the $79 unlimited monthly fee and tried 5 yoga classes in a week.
Every class I tried is very good. I like the 3 instructors I had so far. I love Andrew's class, so peaceful and calm, exactly what I had imagined for my ideal yoga class. I took 2 of Naem's classes and they are quite different in styles. Her "Restorative" on Wednesday is very easy and relaxing, great for beginners with no experience or who just want to relax at the end of the day.
Scott's Yoga 101 on Saturday morning is great for new comers, beginners or those who need to work on certain part of yoga postures. Scott's instructions are easy to understand and follow. I felt so energized walking out the class!!!
I had gotten more value in one week than the monthly pass I had paid for. It's well worth it! I would love to try out more classes with different instructors, but I am very happy so far. You need to go to their website and book the classes in advance, but the process is easy.
One thing to mention is even though it's called "Hot Yoga Santee", they do offer different kinds of yoga classes, hot of regular temperature. Don't let "Hot Yoga" scares you away (I almost didn't come to the class because of the name). So if you like Hot Yoga, that's perfect, if you just need regular yoga class, they have it, too!
The Yoga classroom is located in a new plaza (where Omelette Factory is located) with plenty of free parking. It's also easily accessible right next to freeway 52 and 67.
The owner John and Lisa are very friendly and responsive. As a Santee resident, I want to support great local business like theirs. I am so glad that I found a nice yoga class so close to my home and my heart. Thank you Hot Yoga Santee and I urge you to give it a try if you are also looking for a good yoga class!
Update: after 1 month yoga classes.
I have been coming to the Yoga Classes at Hot Yoga Santee for 3-6 times a week in the past month and I even tried the heated Yoga class for the first time today. I have to say that I have not been disappointed! I like every instructor I tried so far. I was able to achieve my goal of touching the ground with my fingers when I bend down in just 3 weeks. I would not be able to do it on my own. My body is more flexible, my mind is calmer, I am less anxious like I used to be and I am able to sleep better for the past few weeks.
Still 5 stars for my updated review. Love this place!

We're in town for a few months and discovered this new (Jan '17) yoga studio in Santee where we're staying. This place offers several yoga and hot yoga variations throughout the schedule so there's really something for every person/practice/mood.
The studio itself is on the upper level of this little shopping center (btw, there's LOADS of off-street parking) and has an amazing view of the hillside to enjoy while you practice. The instructors I've had the pleasure of practicing with so far (Melaminah and Linda) have been amazing guides and I definitely plan on trying out as many of the different styles offered that my schedule will allow.
You can sign up and buy classes online or just drop in and ask about deals. The best deal by far is the 30-day unlimited for $79, however there are a variety of packages to work with.
It's great to have found such a sweet place to practice while we're in Southern California.
As an East County local it's refreshing and exciting to finally have an honest, centered and humble space to practice in. I took my first class last night and left floating in the clouds after an awesome Bikram experience. Jacklyn was wonderful and made sure that you felt welcome and secure while you moved through the postures. She was very attentive and assisted you in any way to ensure that your form was in alignment with the posture. I have nothing but positive remarks and praise to give Hot Yoga Santee and will definitely be making this my new home studio!
