Beyond Pilates is an oasis in our otherwise busy lives. The instructors (Daisy, Alyssa and Wendy especially) are incredibly kind and supportive. They make every class fun and break down all the moves so that you never feel lost. If you have any injuries the caring and very knowledgeable instructors will show you modifications tailored to your injury. Our minds and our bodies need to be recharged and empowered. Beyond Pilates is the place to do both. You will leave every class with a smile, a sense of accomplishment and a new relationship with muscles you had long since forgotten.
Four years ago I severely injured my knee. After two years of surgeries, I needed something that was going to help me rebuild an atrophied quad. I had tried physical therapy, went back to the gym and hired a trainer. Everything was too intense for that knee and nothing work to strengthen the muscles. That is when I drove by Beyond Pilates. I have been attending over a year and a half now. In just that short time, my quad has come back 50%, I can walk faster than before and my muscles are strong enough to hold all my hyper-mobile joints. All the instructors have been amazing at helping me recover. I am a Pilates girl for life now and am so grateful to have found this studio!

I purchased a Groupon to use while I was in town. The instructors were very helpful. There's no reception/front desk so it's best to sign up on their website. I do wish there was a larger yoga area or separate yoga room, and yoga classes offered a little more often. The classes were great!
This is the first pilates studio I've ever visited, and since joining, I am addicted. Beyond Pilates has changed my life! The instructors are highly motivating, upbeat, and professional. They make sure all the students in the class are pushing themselves and doing movements correctly. I've taken class with almost all the instructors now, and I leave every time sweating and feeling stronger and more flexible. The instructors always provide modifications if you have an injury or can't do a movement, so this studio is perfect for beginners (like me) as well as advanced students. Super reasonable rates, as well! Do yourself a favor and try out this studio!!!
Joining Beyond Pilates in San Diego has transformed my life. Thanks to these studios, I'm now in even better shape than when I was an actor in my twenties taking daily movement classes at Juilliard. This is because of the outstanding instructors, the glorious studio spaces, and the extraordinary owner, Brad. The instructors at Beyond Pilates are obviously very carefully trained and managed. Each and every one clearly loves Pilates, and their passion is infectious. They're always welcoming, professional, and upbeat, at the same time that they're able to challenge you to achieve newfound strength, agility, and tranquility. The studio spaces are meticulously clean and bright, and the equipment is all brand new and sturdy. Beyond this, the website and app are very user friendly, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I've tried two other Pilates studios in San Diego, and they didn't come anywhere close to providing a comparable experience. Obviously, such a wonderful place as Beyond Pilates doesn't come about by accident. At the helm of this business is the extraordinary owner, Brad. For Brad, the studios are clearly a matter of the heart, given how invested he is in each and every client. He's one of the most generous-spirited people I've ever encountered.
