Great gym. I work alot so I come here really late at night, it works for me. I really enjoy
Everything with easy access.
Alex Graeber greeted me chewing gum and a warm welcome upon registering for a 3 day pass. 10 minutes later he's asking for my credit information to join the gym. A fast one and superficial act on the sells approach. At least have the courtesy asking me if I want to join the gym.
Came in yesterday, sophia/Sofia. Helped my husband, daughter and me purchase gym memberships. She was . .Very polite, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, smiling great energy! Ask for her when you go in to sign up.
Had a pleasant experience with the staff. Friendly front desk along with a highly accommodating manager named Jason. The facility is kept well maintained and clean. If I had to be picky to suggest anything it would be to get round plates instead of dodecagon shaped. Easier to deadlift, but again just my two cents. Otherwise great gym.
The gym itself is okay, I would only recommend if you're dead sure about going to the gym and keeping your membership for a long time. The canceling process here is a B*****!! Every-time I go to cancel the membership, they tell me "only a manger can cancel it and they're not available right now." I've gone three times already and its the same thing. I finally found a number online to cancel but it wasn't easy, it was all the way in the bottom of the website and i had to go through three other tabs to find it. The wait time for the phone call was about 30 minutes. Honestly, other gyms have an online cancellation option that's easy to use and find.
Close to shopping mall. Problem is a parking lot. Though nice environment for doing workouts.
It's super busy, but the nicest 24 sport in the area. Bad reviews are true and so are the good reviews. It's all about your expectations. I'm not picky, they have a decent club at a decent(read cheap) price. I'm able to TCOB and have fun. U want luxury? Go to their ultra24 in irvine and quit crying.

Great view from hot tub.
By far the worst run/stocked/ maintained health club I've ever seen.
If you don't need the 24/7 hours as I do, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

Wonderful outdoor pool on the 3rd floor roof of the Santa Ana Main Place Mall. I use the towel service & steam room, too.
This is a really nice gym. I kinda like that you have to climb 4 sets of stairs to get to it lol. The only downside is it's packed from 4-11pm every weekday. I suggest you do cardio if you go during that time, those machines are always free. Have yet to run into any issues with exception of people being on their phones while sitting at a machine. So incredibly annoying! You know who you are!

Good gym, just pray u never have to call their customer service for any problems. Their members service hotline I would give ZERO Stars!
New gym!! Everything is new and the classes here are amazing. The highlight is the pool here.
Things are not being repaired. Spin dry machine has been broken for a month, spa heater broken and the place is not being cleaned in the men's area.
It is a wonderful facility but being neglected .
I tried to attend the U Jam & Zumba class on Friday, March 30th, and the front desk employees didn't let me in, they were extremely unprofessional and rude, The location in question is the Santa Ana super sport at the main place mall. They said I needed to take a 20 minutes tour around their facility and afterwards fill out a form, I explained to the employee the class was about to start and if there was anyway we can do all that afterwards he said no we have to do it now, The class would be half way finished by that time. What a joke, the employees are so unprofessional and rude here wow. 24 hour fitness posted on Instagram page ("Guests are free at every 24 hour club every Friday all month plus access any level club from active to ultra sport") I tried to show the employee that advertisement but he wouldn't even look at it, I was actually thinking of joining 24 hour fitness and my husband was going to also but no way we would give them any of our business, we'll stay with L.A fitness the employees are much more courteous and professional.
One of the best 24s I've been to.. if ever in area again this is my spot. Going forward
From what I can tell, there is absolutely no reason to give this gym a low rating - Orange County peeps are famously difficult to please. Very clean and spacious with great equipment. Even without that tho, there's the rooftop basketball courts (I hope whoever thought of that got promoted for that idea alone) which must be spellbinding at night, and a open air pool with another gorgeous view. This review could have simply been "Views, bruh." The locker rooms are clean and with a great, simple layout (So many 24 Hours insist on separating the toilets and the hand washing sinks, WHY??). This is my new favorite Super Sport location, and whenever I find myself in the area I will make it a point to come here.

The most scammy backwards gym I've ever dealt with. Here is a little story of my experience with 24hr fitness after only a month of being with them...
Early Jan. 2018 I started a "trial" membership for me and my roomate. This required a $40 deposit for both accounts ($80 which would be refunded or credited toward the membership at the end of the trial). Within 3 days of the "week" trial my roomate doesn't want the membership so I cancel it. They assure me that the deposit will be refunded in a few days (their words). A week and a half goes by and I haven't been refunded so I go in person and ask the staff again. This time they tell me I was told wrong and it actually takes 20 business days to get a refund. Sucks, but I wait.
One month and some change later.... NO REFUND. Actually even better they DIDN'T cancel my roommates account and I was charged for his membership. Roughly $85 in the hole with these jokesters.
So I go in person again and talk to management. They assure me the membership is cancelled this time and my money will be refunded. A couple days pass and I'm nervous because of the previous experience with "refunds." So I call corporate to double-check that the membership cancellation for my roomate is pending. The rep on the phone assures me it has been requested.
A week passes and to my surprise I get a refund! Finally, after a month and almost a half of waiting I get my money back. BUT WAIT, it doesn't stop there. A mere two days after I get my refund I get ANOTHER CHARGE from 24 hour fitness on my credit card. The exact amount they charged for my roomates "cancelled" membership"
Here is the real kicker. Not only did they already charge me (and refund me) for this cancelled membership, but they charged me a SECOND TIME, middle of the month (Feb 17, not even within the billing cycle) AND. AND STAY WITH ME HERE BECAUSE IT'S SOOOO GOOD....
They charge me on a Saturday, conveniently when NO management is in and customer service is only open M-F.
In shorter words. They snuck an already disputed and refunded charge back onto my card, on a day when I cannot call or go in person to dispute the fraudulent charge AND it's in the middle of the month when they are suppose to charge you at the beginning.
Seriously how do you guys sleep at night?
Incorrect charges in my first month = $117
This is one of my favorite Super Sports, I wish I lived closer to it.
The locker room is great with wide lockers and wide benches. I HATE the Super Sports with narrow lockers and narrow benches. The showers are great as well. They are very clean and well maintained, again unlike some other Super Sports where the shower areas need refreshing.
I never have trouble getting on machines no matter when I show up. It also has one of my favorite pools of any Super Sport a) it is outside and b) the rooftop setting is spectacular. Only the Laguna Niguel pool gets higher marks because it has more lanes.
I been reading the reviews and Im assuming they had issues a year ago. I just joined and don't have any issues that will ruin the experience. I joined to get in shape for boot camp. I do wish the weight area was a bit larger. But its nitpicking. Only other thing I can think of is how expensive the personal trainers are. You should be ok as along as you eat healthier and live a healthy lifestyle. If you commit at least 1 to 2 hours a day to working out. 3 to 5 days a week. You will see results. If your joining a hardcore special forces group, or want to go hardcore on workouts. Or trying to compete in a test/ competition. Thats the only reasons I see to spending that much cash on a personal trainer. Even if your looking to join the military. As long as you commit to working out. In 1 month or less your going to see results. To get more out of your workouts. Don't ever use the elevator. Jog up the stairs to get the blood flowing. I never had any real issues. Ill update later if anything changes.
This club needs a to rehire the whole staff. This location is hideous and filthiest 24 Fitness Gym that I have visited. Managers need to get a grip and put the incompetent employees they have hired. The service is cold and unprofessional. Get a grip people.
Awesome view from the pool area, if I join, this wouldbe why!! But.....
Could the cleaning lady leave me alone?? Really, mopping under the door of the stall I'm going pee in???
And handicap shower stall is broken & hard to use! C'mon u guys!
I am hitting low because you NEED to do something about their online presence. This is not the only location with issues, and I will smack them all as I visit and find out.
I cannot tell you how annoying it is to be out, decide to go to the gym, pull up the locations on Google Maps, drive there and park under the big sign that says "24 Hour Fitness" walk in, or in this case climb 3 flights of stairs, punch in my phone number, scan my fingerprint, and the screen says "See Attendant" to be told "Sorry this is a 'Super Sport' location."
How about you actually list your locations on Google? Or it would still annoy me as I pull up, but on the outside of the building, rather than the embarrassment of being denied. Seriously, how hard would it be to have the Google listing appear as "24 Hour Fitness - Super Sport" or "24 Hour Fitness - Sport" or "Active" or "Ultra Sport"? So people know when planning to visit, you do this just fine on Yelp.
I do not want or need your App on my phone. I would never think to use the app to find a location anyways, I am using Google to Navigate my day. Google knows everything... except the membership levels of your locations.
