Poor redesign. Equipment layout is horrible and not intuitive. Chest equipment for example is spread on opposite side of the building which is huge. Machine flys and bench are a full football field apart. I would highly recommend 24 hour redesign layout at this location with some better thought behind it.
Started going here after the remodel.
Large and bright. Things are nicely spaced out and lots of machines and equipments. As they were remodeling there was some empty spaces but they've been adding as they go. Read some reviews about things missing but it has since been added. Long turf on the ground. Rope, dumb bells, and medicine balls upstairs and down stairs.
I live closer to the union city super sport, but ill make the extra drive to San Ramon.
Customer service hasn't been bad or good. Everyone has been friendly.
Usually busy right after work but the crowd lessens after 7. To give a bad rating for the place being popular is not the gyms fault. Just sucks.
They basically rearranged everything to leave a completely empty and useless place upstairs. Free weights are now cramped to one small section of entire gym. Probably will go to Fitness 19 or 24 hour Pleasanton location moving forward.
First impression: I love this place!
It's in the back of a huge UPS distribution center. I was SURE I had the wrong address. But no, the gym is here, around the west side of the building. And it is spacious inside. Two levels, cat walks and open balcony. Two big staircases and a floorplan that flows pretty nice.
But most importantly, of course: lifting platforms and what (at first glance) looks like plenty of big blue plates! They even looked a little used. This either means that the management knows that four-plates-per-platform is laughably inadequate, or, there are actually people in here moving some respectable weight. --- And that's good! Look, as much as I like loading up a bar and scaring the scrawny kids, it's much nicer to be around people who are doing some Good Work.
So far, this is the best 24hr in the whole Bay region, ...and I've been to almost all of them now. I wish I could be in this part of the area more often.
Weirdest 24 hours gym I ever seen. A bit outdated factory style facility with fancy parking. Very odd layout. Nasty naked old men in locker room.
This is one of their larger locations, used to
be one of the best ones. Not now, men's locker room always screwed up, showers that don't work, broken shower heads, urinals very seldom work, any of them, broken gym equipment, that stays broken for weeks or longer. Lot of people working there, hmmm why? I do not like members who leave their dirty towels, but management encourages sloppy behavior by not caring for the gym. Worst 24 in east bay now. Equinox will love you tho.

Manager (black dude, 6'5"?) tried to bully me into a membership, would not listen that I just wanted to use my trial first to try the location, then told me to get out of his way because i was "wasting his time" when I didn't ask to be bothered in the first place. Needless to say I wasn't interested in a membership after that, but they put you on a call list anyway and harass you every day to try and get your membership.
Poor business practices, extremely rude, got membership at a different gym.

Feels like family @24 hour! Love this place
Great gym with tons of equipment to use and a lot of space.
Best personal trainer is Renee. Fabulous! Will repeat working with her.
I love the Yoga classes here, especially Jim and Robin's classes. The weekend classes can easily get full, and they have implemented a ticket system, one would need to get a queue ticket to secure a spot in the class. The swimming pool is great here, with 5 lanes.

Weird naked old people who dont even exercise lurk in the locker room 24 8
Good gym with great equipment, but the upstairs smells really bad like there is an open sewer. Might be a temporary issue however.
this is a nice gym, it's large with a ton of equipment. The only down fall is that parking is limited, especially during the weekend. I'm obsessed with their sauna!
Very clean Gym, with friendly staff onboard. Couple improvement would do that Gym perfect.
1. Some people forget why they are coming to the gym, they occupied equipment for 10-15 minutes, not doing much, just chatting with their friends.
2. Sometimes Dumbbells not in the correct slots.(you are done exercise with 65s, trying to put them to the correct slot, but somebody already put 25s there)
3. Slow swimmers are swimming in the middle pool's lanes, and not willing to share lane with you
4. Sauna and steam is for quite relax. But actually some people come with work out clothes and shoes.....and you smell "results" of their work out. Also, some people listen music that loud with headphones, that you can hear each word in their songs.
This is a very nice 24 Hour Super Sport. Towels, lockers, plenty of space, lots of modern equipment, and parking is NOT a problem, unlike many 24 Hour locations. Recommend this one highly.

Used to be great but they have let maintenance go and no new equipment for over a year.. Disappointing since this is the facility closest to their HQ
Good facility. Lots of open and bright space. The upstairs weights could use some natural light
Justin the new club manager is an Excellent Employee and a great listener. Had some concerns and he put me at ease with some good sound advice. Corporate Should Be Proud Of This And Every Employee Here. Micheal That Takes Care Of The Locker Rooms And Towel Service Is Superb And Has Helped Me Also Many Times.... Another Really Great Guy. Best Gym In The Area That Pays Attention To Their Customers Needs.
I've been a member for two years and am less than happy with three issues. First, the trash scattered around the enormous parking lot is a terrible eyesore. In addition to parking spaces that are too small, the trash cans are generally overflowing and the pavement and grass littered with additional garbage. Secondly, maintenance is sub-par. A shower in the women's locker room has been backed up and overflowing into the corridor for MORE THAN A WEEK. I know they are aware of the problem because several members have reported it. Eight days and nothing has been done. Thirdly, the person who schedules the aqua aerobics classes is not very capable. We have had some instructors not show because their classes were "cancelled" and others double booked for more than one club location at the same time. It's not cool when 30-40 people show up for a class and find they have no instructor. Management needs to get its act together and correct these problems.
