Victoria at Ironhorse Physical Therapy and Pilates has helped me immensely with her bulletproof running program! The class series help me refine my form a few years ago which adapted me to healthier and stronger performance, where I eventually ran an ultra. This year, I am fighting a minor running injury and Victoria works with me one-on-one. This, in addition to continually attending bulletproof runner workshops, is helping me come back stronger and healthy as I thirst to get fully back into my running. I would highly recommend her to any serious athletes, especially runners.

I have been to Victoria's Kettle bell 101 and shoulder workshop since I always wanting to learn how to do Kettle bell exercises correctly. AS it turn out, the workshop was exactly what I needed!!
I love the detail instruction that I got from Victoria included the proper foam, muscle activation and what I should feel when I does it correctly, loading strategy, sequencing and safety.
Victoria also uses videos to movement analysis in order to help EACH of us understand which part we does incorrectly so that we know what our weak links are. Her workshop is like a "prehab" teaches us the common errors most people would made when performing kettle bell so that those take away messages helps us to learn how to protect ourselves from work out.

I am impressed with Victoria's depth of knowledge of movement, verbal/tactile cues and her attention to details on her movement analysis. She is definitely BEST of the BEST who always push herself to provide better quality of PT and movement related services!
Highly Recommended!!

I have been working with the staff at Ironhorse PT & Pilates for months and have taken advantage of Victoria's vast expertise to repair my diastasis from pregnancy, rebuild strength after major surgery, and build strength to train for run/walk races. Her whole body approach was just what I needed to address issues all over. I have also worked with Kerry and Gigi who were also so helpful. Victoria's Bulletproof Runner class gave succinct and effective exercises to build runner specific strength and each week built on the skills of the previous week. Holly is a fantastic pilates instructor, her joyful spirit and stories almost distract you from how hard she is working you!

The only challenge is getting scheduled since people who are good at the craft fill up fast. I highly recommend this great practice and their holistic approach to physical therapy and strength building.

I came into Ironhorse PT with a pretty bad shoulder injury, and a lower back injury that made me unable to walk properly. The shoulder injury prevented me from doing planks or any other weight bearing exercise without pain, and because of my back, walking, bending, and lifting anything would be very difficult. I saw the PTs and Pilates instructors at Ironhorse and they were immediately able to assess the problem and they got me on track to get better at my very first appointment. They had me doing some fundamental Pilates exercises, and I slowly started to get better. Now, only a couple months later, my back pain has vanished, I can walk completely pain free, and planks are no longer painful. I'm so much more mobile than I was before. I had almost completely lost hope of getting better, but the PTs and instructors here helped me get my mobility back. I can't thank them enough for having done what they did for me. I'd highly recommend them for any issues with pain!

Five years ago I woke up with sciatica on my right hip. I suffered six months before going to the doctor and was recommended to get Cortizone injections which initially relieved the pain. It then transferred to my left hip and was given more injections, relieving 80% of the pain. The experience left my lower back and legs very weak and my doctor suggested that I should go to Ironhorse PT and Pilates for physical therapy and Pilates to strengthen my core and legs. Now I have been coming here for six months, taking Silver sneakers class and continue Pt for my discomfort in my legs and hips. By coming here it has allowed me to go for walks, swim, and lift light weights which have helped to strengthen my body. I am forever grateful for Ironhorse PT and Pilates. It has brought me an easier time traveling and has helped me move more comfortably.

Wow, where do I even begin? I found Victoria & Ironhorse PT after some extensive searching for a PT who could help me with my postpartum issues. After having baby #3, my problems ranged from the standard "split abs" diastasis recti to a more complex separate pubic ligament in my pelvic bone (OUCH!). I'd seen one person before finding Ironhorse that didn't really seem to understand how to help me heal and even said to me "I've only read about this kind of injury, I've never actually treated a patient with it" (in reference to the pubic ligament). WHAT?! Enter: Victoria. When I started seeing her, I'd healed enough in my recovery journey that I could walk around my house on level ground pretty easily without pain but anything that required going up an incline - steps, hills, etc - was so painful. That's not normal! She got me started with some basic exercises to strengthen my poor muscles but also to get my body moving and working in the correct ways. Along the way, she also educated me about how my body is all connected and pointed out some trigger areas that have bothered me all my life that I never realized were a result of poor posture or weak muscles, etc. Now, roughly 6 months later, I can completely move around, go up steps, hills, like a NORMAL person and our new goal is to get my back into running. RUNNING! From not being able to walk up a flight of stairs? She's nothing short of a miracle worker. I can't recommend her enough! My abs are also so much stronger and my diastasis recti has almost completely closed. I never thought I'd be able to do another ab curl without my guts pooching out but I CAN now! What are you waiting for!? Call her right now!

This class was great, I learned a lot of tools that I could use in my workout to work on my core safely after my pregnancy.
Victoria was very knowledgeable, the class moved at a good pace. I hope that she does more classes in the future.

I started seeing victoria when I was recovering from a double mastectomy and cancer treatment. My shoulder and arm were becoming less functional and i had daily pain, and desperate to get back to my "triathlete" life. Victoria carefully helped manage the acute problem with my arm, then the full range of mobility issues in my shoulder with manual therapy and focused exercises, and did what noone else seemed to be able to do - get me swimming pain free (then later... running and cycling). The assigned therapists from the hospital may have been managing occupational problems, but I needed someone who could couple both the sport and functional movement pieces in a young athlete/cancer survivor. She did a fantastic job and I fully credit her with getting me back into competition shape. I now see victoria for a range of other issues that come from being a fully functioning athlete - and would recommend her services to anyone recovering from something serious - or even just niggling issues which cant seem to heal. She treats everyone with care and has a friendly but extremely professional nature.

Victoria is knowledgeable, experienced, professional and courteous. She always listens and tries to get to the bottom of my issues. The exercises she prescribed always work! Definitely a 5 star physical therapist and often a miracle worker.

I have been seeing Victoria and Stephanie at Ironhorse PT and Pilates for over two years. I started going to Ironhorse PT and Pilates with a goal to gain better balance and overall core strength. They brought me well beyond my goals and even helped me bring my body and mind to a place where I was able to complete a half-ironman! I continue to go to Ironhorse PT and Pilates twice a week to maintain and built upon the strength and stability they have shown me is so important to live a healthy and well balanced life. I highly recommend them for not only building a balanced and strong body, but also for helping to put to rest body pains and aches. I have learned a lot about my body and different movement tendencies that I would never have noticed on my own. Understanding why these tendencies exist and working to change the way I stand, sit, and move has helped me get rid of many pains that I thought just came with age. This is not just a "momentary fix" organization, they help you easily and effectively change your life habits for long time success.
