CrossFit San Mateo is an integral part of my life now thanks to the amazing coaches (Dallas and Deana are the best!!!). I joined with no prior experience but the coaches put me at ease and guided me through all the different movements thoroughly and patiently. Over the past couple of years I feel that I have made tremendous progress and it is thanks to proper coaching and also the rest of the group who is extremely supportive and fun to work out with. Besides having wonderful coaches and great workout buddies CrossFit San Mateo has excellent facilities and a great location (right next to the San Mateo Caltrain Station). All in all the best place I have worked out in!
Never been in better shape in my life than when I worked out with Dallas and the crew at CrossFit San Mateo. Got me prepped for a PT test that I crushed, he brought my mile time down to my fastest ever @ 5:27, and we never ran a single mile. If you work out at this gym you will see improvements that will actually change your life. You'll become strong, physically and mentally, and your confidence in all aspects of life will grow.
Dallas is by far the best coach that I've ever been coached by. I am biased, but I'm biased towards excellence. Dallas has an ability to notice technique deficiencies and correct them providing simple and easy instructions to follow. I've seen him take people with zero athletic ability/background and have them completing compound movement exercises with great form in no time at all.
