I've been a Kindred member for almost two years now and it's become a second home and family to me. The owners, coaches, and fellow members are giving, down-to-earth, and supportive. Members come in all shapes, sizes, ages, and have varying physical abilities. Doesn't matter; we all work out right next to each other and cheer each other on. I've accomplished so much here - that plus Kindred's community spirit are what keep me coming back.
As for CrossFit in general: I've done HIIT, Pilates, barre, yoga, and bootcamp. CrossFit is different because it involves heavier weightlifting but, in my opinion, is just as intense as HIIT, barre, and bootcamp. No, ladies, you won't bulk up, and, YES, YOU CAN lift that weight.
