Good place to workout early in the morning
It's a bit small which is a bummer. If you go in 4-7pm I have heard it gets crazy packed but I usually go between 1-3pm and it's not to bad.
There are about 8 treadmills, 8 elipticals, a couple stair masters, free weights, and machines. Pretty much everything you would expect from a gym.
There are also classes and a basketball court but I have not partaken in those.
Caveat: SJSU is in the process of building a totally new and advanced facility next door, so stay tuned.
This is an old school gym in the bottom of a stadium. There are adequate racks, plenty of barbells, and an Olympic lifting platform. Minimal machines, but a full array of dumbbells and benches. There are additional spaces for body-weight routines and exercise classes, courts for basketball and racquetball, and cardio equipment scattered throughout. It smells like a gym, take that whatever way you wish.
I like it - most college gyms try to sell you on fancy stuff, and maybe the new SJSU gym will do just that. This one is old school.

Very nice and clean place. Good welcoming environment, not super crowded. Staff is friendly and approachable. Will for sure come here again.
