I have tried different Barre franchises (Pure Barre, Village Barre, Barre Code, Fly Barre, etc) and Barre3 is my favorite because the movements really challenge my body's strength, stability, and mobility. My first Barre 3 experience is in Nashville, TN where Barre 3 classes are known to be some of the best. I have since then moved from Nashville. When I visited the San Jose area I was very excited to find a Barre 3 studio in Willow Glen. It is a cute and clean studio and the staff is welcoming. It contains your usual merchandise section, two well kept bathrooms (no showers though, that was not an issue for me but can see it being a problem for clients going from class to work). The workout studio itself is on the smaller side in my opinion. While I was there, I took four different classes with three different instructors. I wish the routines were more experimental; they were very basic barre movements that your body can get used to quickly. I also thought the intensity can be kicked up a notch; even when I do two classes back to back, I still felt like something was missing in my day.
In terms of pricing, I think the drop in is your standard bay area price. however, there is a 2 week unlimited option for new clients at a very good deal.
Overall, I am a big fan of Barre 3, but this studio fell a little short of my expectations, but has a great deal for new members to check out.
