It is VERY hard to find a Hapkido studio in the bay area, much less a good one.
Grandmaster Charles Hwang is one of the kindest and most patient instructors I've ever met. He is also very intelligent.
I'd dare to say he's overqualified to teach as he directly studied under Young Sul Choi who was the founder of Hapkido. Having a PhD in Oriental Medicine, he is able to teach the pressure points and inner knowledge of Hapkido needed, combining the techniques with knowledge of health, as it was taught in the past.

All my 3 children are enrolled. The master has a long experience of training U.S. Military Police Battalions and is very skilled. My kids are receiving an exceptional training. I am very happy to see them growing in discipline and self-confidence every day!!
