I live about four blocks away and I was really excited and hoped that this place could be an option but it is a poor value and, honestly, I have seen hotel gyms that are either similar size or even larger. Let me break this down for you, they charge 100 dollars for a background check, 50 for a keyfob and then depending on your membership, you could be looking at 40+-58 per month. Honestly, a 200 dollar joining fee and 40-50 a month for a facility that is lacking of a variety of machines makes very little sense. The instructor that showed me around was very nice but he figured out very quickly that I had no interest. Lastly, the background check thing to me is a little dubious but hey if you are that paranoid about being jacked in a gym maybe leaving your house is not a good idea. Anyway, it is a pass for me. I will be joining 24 Hour fitness. I moved here from NYC and it just continues to amaze me how people in Silicon Valley just arbitrarily throw their money away.
