After years of not doing what I should, in terms of exercise, I was starting from scratch. On top of being out of shape, I have decades old and numerous sports and accident injuries, so I really needed to be pieced back together.
Mystie at AquaPie has put me on the road to a physically better, more pain free day. I have made strides very rapidly and noticeably within just the first few months.
First, Mystie started working with me on movement type exercise. You'd be surprised at the bad habits you get into to protect yourself from injured areas of your body. After getting into better habits and movements, we started to work in more traditional Pilates moves to build flexibility. From there, we are beginning to concentrate on strength. Overall, Mystie has me on a great plan.
Ultimately I have lost weight and I'm in better shape thanks to the time I spend at AquaPie. I would recommend Mystie to anyone. She is patient and understanding of those that are less coordinated than others, and she can discuss diet and many other aspects of what it takes to take your life back from being too sedentary and injured.
