This is the worst 24 hour fitness...It's not necessarily the gym although you find your fair share of ellipticals, treadmills, & stair climbers "out of order" but what makes this 24 hour fitness the worst is the clientele here. Everyone sitting on there phones taking there sweet time or monopolizing all the weights, just basically not having any concept of gym etiquette. Come'on people! Do your sets & move on...Anyway, front desk, trainers, & even the gym itself is not bad...just people!

(Market Street Location) pros- It's cheap, cleaner than others.
cons - Crowded. Must wear earbuds; sound system plays endless montague of awful music interrupted by lame adverts, my all time irritating favorite is a perky female voice encouraging members to "help fight the war on odour by spraying Febreeze all over our smelly gym bags and clothing"

The staff is not nice at all. The place is absolutely packed. The gym equipment is very old. There is no space to work out. 30% of treadmills and ellipticals are out of order.

Small gym great for quick workouts. For some reason they hid all the water fountains in the side rooms while there's a giant for sale drink machine in the main room. Had to ask the front deck where they where after looking for 10 minutes.

Fair amount of options for a small space. I went on a Saturday afternoon & it was fine. So I can't comment on how crowded it is during the weekdays.

It's okay. Small gym with underground parking. Bathrooms need to be updated. Not bad for a quick workout & shower.

Let's just be honest it's a gym so it just does the trick at the end of the day coming into this place is like going into a prison you're going to have all the people who look like they just got out but at the same time that looks like a gay bar to it's kind of funny going into this place because you get the nasty looking creeps like tonight the guy at the front desk was a complete tool bag when I asked to sign in the guy just looked at me and just gave me a look like dude I'm eating here so I literally just went ahead and just did my thing checked in wasn't any better when I was looking around and saw what crowd was in there it looks like it was The Dawn of the Dead ugly horrible and disgusting looking people should never even going to gym should stay home and there the Crypt the workout tonight was awesome the people are horrible and the service was awful overall it's a gym.

Always packed, equipment is missing & dated.
Tip: Buy membership from Costco for sport & below (Averages out to about $15/mo)

Dirty, overcrowded, smelly, limited equipment, and no showers. As soon as you walk into the gym they are trying to sell you a membership before you even see the center. People talking loudly on cell phones which staff ignore. Better off at a Y or SF fitness or any other place for that matter.

It's a public gym. You get what you pay for. Very bare bones in terms of equipment, so it sucks when something goes down for maintenance. Staff is friendly. Never put your bare feet on the gym floor and you should be fine.

This gym has really great group classes. The Instructors are motivating and really know their stuff. My only complaint is the gym smells awful. I guess that's to be expected since everyone is sweating, but sometimes the stench is too much. Other than that, everyone is friendly, and most of the machines work. It's my go-to gym, and it has everything I need.

Machines are ancient and often broken. Needs new equipment. 80% of it isn't used because it's awful. Gets very packed with poor ventilation so windows are often dripping with condensation.

If you've been to a 24 hour fitness you know that there is usually something wrong with the place. Sometimes its towels being strewn across the floor, no paper towels in the dispenser, or perhaps broken equipment. Relative to these almost ubiquitous characteristics this location wasn't bad. When I was there it was clean, everything seemed to be working, and surprisingly there was paper towels and fully stocked sanitation bottles. This location is on the smaller end so I assume at busier times it could be difficult to find equipment that's not being used.

Had to update this. Guy at the front today wasn't good at his job at all. Unable to handle multiple people who were lining up he just ignores those people and goes about his business. Very unprofessional and rude and not intelligent. The bimbo next to his was not any smarter. Very crazy that this place hires such people to handle the desk, was it his first day and 24 didn't give him the right training? No have a good workout? Handling some bimbo while bobbing her head? And the whole time, just make absurd comments? Very disappointing honestly stupidity is well alive for this place.

It does the trick. But to be honest - they can add some new machines and appliances. Most of the machines are old, there aren't enough of them and during peak hours you might as well stay home
